Strawberry Corner - disappointed
While it was nice for dogs due to fencing being around all of property it is located on an extremely busy corner. Lots of cars, trucks, motorcycles and pedestrians. When we arrived we found the cabin had not been cleaned. Trash, unmade beds dirty kitchen, webs and dead and alive insects was not a welcome sight. While the master bed was comfortable the interior lighting throughout and the smokey smell in the great room was overpowering at times. This is an old cabin so most of the doors don’t close all the way with Jerry rigged bolts used to lock them. Some of the windows don’t lock at all. There is only a tub downstairs so if you want to shower you need to go upstairs. Needless to say we won’t be going back.

Strawberry Corner is beautifully situated on the edge of Idyllwild with coffee shops and restaurants all just a short stroll away. Access to Strawberry creek was much appreciated by the children and adults as it was very hot during our stay

Perfect place for old college friends to meet
The house was ideal for our group of 6 meeting from various parts of the country. We spent most of our time visiting on the large deck, but also made the short walk into town for a couple of lovely dinners. The house is charming and comfortable, and was perfect for the six of us to hang out and catch up after many years of not seeing each other. Everyone loved it.

A great family vacation spot. Great location five minute walk into the village on beautiful wooded property on the creek. Lots of space and amenities for family activities. Older cabin but very comfortable

Strawberry corner is a super charming vintage cabin that is incredibly positioned for lovely sounds of Strawberry creek and easy walks to the central town of Idyllwild. The description and photos do not fully capture the charm of this property. There are numerous outdoor seating and dining areas as well as great activities - horseshoes, ping pong, darts, and even a mini zip line! Charm abounds in the cabin and the vintage feel is worth not having every modern amenity (no dish washer or shower in main floor bath). I wish we could have stayed even longer and would definitely come back!

So lovely!!!
This cabin/property was perfect! Our whole group was pleasantly surprised as it was even better in person. We had lunch in the gazabo, breakfast on the deck, yoga outside under the trees, and even a little ping pong. Its convenient location to town was such a bonus. We all wished we had at least another day! Definitely saving it to the favorites list.

A magical cottage in the wild
We had a wonderful time staying at Strawberry Corner! I wanted a place where if it was snowing or raining we wouldn’t feel couped up in tight corners. Well - we arrive to full blown snow so we knew we would be spending a lot of time at home - and it was perfect! Two fires going, board games galore, adorable play/bed rooms upstairs, cozy nooks everywhere to snuggle and read. Then, the kids wake up to see eggs from the Easter Bunny throughout the extensive, gated garden all around! We will definitely come back! And probably bring friends with us because there is so much room (and an entire guest house we didn’t even use!)

Great Location
It’s a charming cabin within easy walking distance to town. The creek near by ads a nice background sound when you’re out on the back balcony. It could use some upgrades in the kitchen and some updated glassware. An outdoor BBQ would be a huge upgrade.

Perfect weekend getaway
We stayed here for two nights with our two children. It is the perfect location and a minute walk to town. The upstairs has 3 children’s beds and toys and was so cute! We had fun exploring outside and there is even a zip line in the yard. The property is completely enclosed, so we felt safe with our kids and dog running around outside. The owner is so nice and responded immediately when I had a few questions

Strawberry corner is a lovely cabin!
This was our second stay at strawberry corner cabin. We were surprised to see new carpet upstairs and in the cowboy suite. We had a family reunion with other members staying in different cabins up the road and in pine cove, but everyone always came back to strawberry corner cabin. The whole family was impressed with the decor and detail that went into this wonderful place. And don’t forget to bring unsalted peanuts for the the beautiful blue birds on the deck, they came around 8am for us, every morning. The kids loved the yard, the birds, & the fantastic kid suite upstairs. And everyone loved the wonderful cabin feeling. Loraine was quick to respond w/any questions and extremely helpful. We will be sure to come back. Everyone had a wonderful stay! Close to town, cozy feeling, and plenty of room inside and out. You can not beat this house or location. I would definitely recommend!
