Surfers flock to Tsurigasaki Beach for world-class waves, where Olympic athletes competed and locals share their favorite breaks. Katori Shrine offers peaceful gardens and traditional ceremonies, while nearby Tamasaki Castle Park reveals fascinating feudal history.
The hotel was quiet and beautiful. We stayed in the main building, in a large, Japanese-style room. Very comfortable. Ichinomiya is definitely a place where you'll want to have a car to get around, but the manager was very helpful about getting us a taxi to a nearby excellent restaurant. Recommend this as a base to explore this part of the Bōsō Peninsula.

The place is really big and can accommodate 16 pax, and dogs. They have everything: pool, sauna, jacuzzi, dog run. Big screen outside (till 9pm) and a bonfire pit.
You can also cook foods, do bbq, and bake pizza.
One night is not enough in this place. And we will definitely be back.

This hotel is of incredible value! We stayed here for a surfing trip at Taito beach and watching the pros at the Olympic beach nearby.
The elderly woman at the counter who checked us in, was so cute and kind.
I guess this was a converted love hotel (similar to a motel in North America). So the room was insanely huge for Japanese standards, and ridiculously cheap (at the time, we paid about 7000 yen for 1 night).
If we go back to Chiba for another surfing trip, we'll definitely stay there...

Very unique and niche setup. I really appreciated how dog friendly the property was. I wish I would have known how remote the property was prior to traveling but no fault to the owners on that regard. The property is right on the beach and overall a great getaway.

My hotel room was more than I expected! Great space, huge bathroom, awesome room amenities, cute Hawaiian pjs, warm outdoor shower to wash up after surfing, and loaner bikes.
Piping under my sink was broken and leaking, but maintenance was able to replace the pipe while I was at the beach.
Not sure if it’s just the time of year, but local restaurants and cafes closed early. Lime Surf shop, which is within walking distance, was a great place to rent a wetsuit and surf board. Owners were...
