When we booked a hotel, they took our reservation and when we reached the property, they said that they don’t have any rooms available so if they don’t have rooms available why would they take the reservation? We drive three hour to get there? And when we get there there was no room. It was around 12 at night and we had to find other hotel for ourselves. It was very terrible experience very bad Hotel very terrible experience we had

This is a very bad hotel. Beds terrible. Floor dirty and uneven. TV broken. Fridge broken. Bathroom gross. Towels stained. Heat thermostat broken.

I got to this motel last night in Hurley Wisconsin, the love oil, and there was a sign on the door saying sorry our computers are done you can't stay here. It's not a whole lot of service left in this world is there?

Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights through Expedia. Showed up day of check in only to find door to hotel locked and a sign posted they are temporarily closed. We were never notified in advance of arriving and no one has answered calls yet they took our money upfront! Garbage outside and old equipment laying around. Did not look very good at all from the outside.

This was an amazing visit in downtown Hurley, near the Montreal River. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and pleasantly laid out. We enjoyed our stay.

The parking lot had not been plowed a good 14 hours after 31 inches of snow fell. Was told i could park on the street and was towed. Streets were plowed. We have stayed several times. It is becoming mostly a long term stay. The site says they are working on the place but have not seen any changes.

Paid for a room, office was locked, no refund yet

I booked 2 nights here weeks in advance for the fourth of July weekend. Showed up to a locked office door with a sign saying "Sorry system is down, not accepting guests," followed with their corporate number, which I called and was on hold for 30 minutes, then hung up on. I reached out again through email. Still no refund after 3 days. It isn't just this OYO location, all OYO locations have been to are super sketchy. This app needs to start refunding customers directly if they are going to advertise questionable rooms to their customers.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

This place is terrible. The parking lot is full of litter and cigarette butts. The rooms were dirty with cob webs all over the place. The pictures posted are so old the place looks nothing like how they actually look. There is no outlet in the bathroom. I thought the ceiling fan was going to come down and hit one of us, it shook so bad. There was also some shady busines dealings going on as well. Management was friendly when we first arrived. When i dropped the keys off, i said good bye and he grunted back at me. There was nothing they could of done to make the stay better. All near by hotle/motels were either booked our the prices were raised due to it being near the 4th of july holiday. Very unsatisfied customer

First of all, have been staying here a couple times a year since the early 90"s, now me and two other friends came for super bowl Sunday and no TV's work in the whole motel. Really... Also, nobody around if you did need anything. Also got charged for a no show on a room that I canceled on 1-26-25 that I had until 2-7-25 to cancel, and I still haven't gotten reimbursed.

This place is cheap and close to downtown. However, the TV didn't work (which I didn't care about but the guy at the desk didn't tell me until I was already unpacking), there were no towels, and whoever was next door decided it would be a good idea to keep their TV or radio on all night.

Hidden nostalgic gem

I arrived at the motel, I am here on business and needed an extra night due to my project carrying over. I stumbled upon this nostalgic gem, I have no idea when it was built but it was in the heart of the town. Easy access to everything, Jazmine at the front desk is the sweetest people you will meet and she made my check-in very pleasant. My room was clean, fresh towels, everything worked, I love the standard keys instead of key cards and my truck was parked right outside of my door. Quaint little stay and if I have to come back to Hurley/Ironwood I will definitely book again.

This motel accepted our reservation. When we arrived at the motel, we were told they couldn't honor our full reservation of three days for two rooms, but could get us a room for a night. Based upon this information, we checked out the next morning. They refused to refund my money because they later said they had rooms available. They are absolute scammers and I would caution anyone against staying there.
