  • This is a one bedroom, one bath, upstairs unit. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a full size refrigerator, a large bathroom and comfortable living area. The bed is a queen size, and all towels and linens are provided. There is a small deck with a BBQ provided for your use. We have wireless internet. Rate is $150 per night plus 8% bed tax. Nice unit above the owners’ home (you climb outdoor stairs to get there) on a quiet end of a street. The host is very attentive. The location is easily accessible to Glacier National Park. A couple things to consider are that the A/C unit is in the kitchen/family room area so the bedroom can get warm if you close the door and the shower stall is very small.

Our stay here was perfect! We came to explore Glacier National Park and this cabin was an amazing place to come home to after our long days. Comfortable bed, quiet location and about 10 minutes from the West Glacier entrance. Host met us at the gate and walked us through the cabin. She was always available but it was still very private and we had a separate entrance so we didn’t feel bad about leaving early or getting in late. Cabin was super clean and had lots of extras that were helpful while traveling…ziplocks, foil, etc. Town has a little grocery store, gas station and we ate smash burgers at Tex and Jerry’s twice! Would definitely stay again!!!

A really nice and clean place to stay near Glacier park. Host family is really friendly and will go out of their way to help you. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice clean place to stay close to Glacier, the hosts were really great to work with and share their knowledge of the area. The Huckleberry Patch has good reasonably priced food just a few minutes away, and the Huckleberry ice cream is delicious!

The apartment was clean and quiet; which was appreciated by these adventurer seekers. Just a note, the bathroom is dim, making it difficult for make up application and shaving. The bathroom is also just off the bedroom, bring air freshener for when “those” moments happen. Karen is well informed and clarify information for us concerning Glacier National Park, turning us on to a local dam and saving us a lot of time; which allowed us to spend more time in the wood hiking.

We stayed for two lovely nights. Check in with Karen was easy, friendly and thorough. The place is close to Glacier National Park’s western entrance. We would stay here again.

Everything was great!

Everything was as advertised, all was clean, close to Glacier, very economical and Karen was very nice n friendly. Gave us suggested Glacier adventures, one we took her up on. Hidden Lake Overlook trail was perfect for us. We had a great 2 nite stay, will come back again.

Quiet retreat

We enjoyed our stay in Hungry Horse. The property was in a quiet location but just 10 miles from West Glacier. We rode our bikes along the River that runs near town. Beautiful scenery

We had a fantastic time! Karen was very friendly and helpful during our stay. She gave us great hiking recommendations. The place was very clean and conveniently located between Glacier National Park and Whitefish. We’d absolutely come back.

Feels like Grandma's cabin

Great location close to Glacier NP. Upstairs, rustic, but all conveniences and extras. Dated in that cozy grandma way, but not worn, just comfy. Karen was great!
