Very dirty & Roach Infested!
I booked the space for my wife’s birthday celebration weekend and the Cowboy Carter Tour for our first time visiting Houston a couple months in advance. I wanted a space near NRG stadium due to traffic after the concert (We experienced horrible traffic in Nashville the previous tour). Communication started the morning of check-in and the host stated that my group could check-in at 3pm. I quickly responded that check-in on our reservation says 2pm. The host responded by saying they “had a previous stay the night before that required more time for cleaning.” I stated that we extended our stay a a hotel until 2pm to coincide with the check-in time we were given a month in advance. The host obliged and informed us that the space would be ready in time. Upon arrival, I received a message that the “garbage in the front near the entrance of the space would be picked up soon.” It was not picked up soon and flies entered the space due to a large amount being in the garbage near the front entrance. When we entered the space for the first time, we were devastated. The floor was unswept, the carpeting and walls in the stairway to the upstairs bedroom were very dirty, the restrooms were barely clean with items left in and on the sink, and the kitchen had leftover items from the previous guest on the countertops and a dead roach was in the freezer. We made a Walmart order to clean because we had nowhere else to go. While waiting for the cleaning supplies, multiple roaches we found.
