Cozy Cabin on the Water -Full Access

A cozy cabin on a stocked freshwater lake that is part of the Gulf Coast Aquifer system. Unique, beautiful, and private. Fully furnished kitchen, full bath, full sized fridge, queen sized bed, and all the amenities to boot. The back patio overlooks the water and incorporates living cypress trees into the construction. Comes with private parking, private dock, an outdoor gas grill, and fast Wi-Fi. Kayaks available.

While we are pet-friendly, we do charge a $40 fee per stay for the option of allowing your pets to stay with us. VRBO does not allow the incorporation of pet fees directly into the booking charges. If you are traveling with pets, you will be charged an additional $40 per stay to compensate for the additional time, money and effort required to maintain our facility in order to be pet-friendly. We take great care to clean meticulously to accommodate travelers who are not pet-friendly. Thank you!

It was an amazing time. 1st time to Kemah the cabin was easy to find and absolutely perfect home away from home had all the comforts of home. Will for sure be booking again on next trip to Kemah 5 stars across the board all day

Great place, comfortable bed, enjoy the backyard and deck will definitely go back when we are visiting our family that lives in League City it will always be our go to place to stay.

Cottage has everything you need. Restaurants near by and many. Beach just a couple miles away and my pets can stay! Love this place.

Especially Good for One

Communication was excellent, good use of limited space. The back deck was wonderful to watch wildlife and relax. For 2 it was super cozy and remote for our dealings in the south Houston area, better for those visiting Kemah, Texas City and Galveston.

TINY HOME!!!

This was our second time staying at this property. It is just as advertised, except it will not sleep 4 people comfortably. However, it is quiet and cozy. Would recommend to others.

A great place for a couple to escape the daily grind. We came for a fishing tournament in Seabrook and visited friends in Galveston and Houston...it was a great Location and a great place For us to stay

My wife and I decided to try something other than the Kemah hotels to spend our new year's eve. The place is exactly as the name says "cozy". It is just a couple of miles from the boardwalk but feels like a whole other place because of how peaceful and quiet ot is. Will rent again

We had a blast fishing off the dock. We also took our dog and the area was perfect for him. The only Complaint we had that the trees were real low above the dock and it was hard to cast but that is minor. We will definitely book again.

For what we needed over the Christmas Holiday, it was perfect. It was very clean with a relatively new bathroom. Even over a holiday week, the owner was very responsive when the AC/heating unit quit. It was fixed within a few hours.

Beautiful and relaxing

we stayed here to help celebrate my partner's birthday, and it was everything we could've hoped for. In particular, we enjoyed the deck--being able to sit out and enjoy the view over the water (watching the turtles & fish)...and jump in ourselves! We used the grill to cookout--and the bed was very comfortable as well. Thanks!!

This cabin is small but packed full with everything we needed. Even a full size washer and dryer! The location is convenient to the Boardwalk, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The lake is peaceful and quiet. We had to drive into Houston one morning very early and the drive was not nearly as bad as I expected. We enjoyed our short stay!

Great weekend stay

My Husband and I stayed here for his birthday weekend! Everything about this property fit our needs. The place was clean and had all of the amenities that we would need. We would defiantly stay here again. One thing we would say is that the grill that is featured in the ad pics is a gas grill and the one at the house is a charcoal grill. We already had charcoal with us so it was not an issue at all… The place was extremely peaceful and the back patio deck bannister lighting added a great night time outside decorum…The water view was gorgeous day and night…

Great Getaway

My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway. This was the place. It was extremely clean and organized. Close to shopping. The place is definitely small so for the two of us it was perfect. Not a fan of the " stove". We prefer to cook our own meals and I would have preferred a regular oven or bigger stove area. We wished the back door would have had some sort of screen door so that we could enjoy the view and fresh air and leave the bugs outside. Would we stay here again? Oh yeah! Most definitely

birthday weekend

What a great place to get away! This may not technically be a "tiny house" but it is tiny, in a good way. Everything you need is right there, cleverly arranged and at hand. It took us some trial and error to figure out how to extend the chairs for sleeping (maybe print out instructions?) but it was comfortable enough. And the outside porch and decks and little area with an outdoor shower are the icing on the cake. We spent most of our time at the beach or museums, but the house is comfortable enough for some chill down time. I loved my mornings on the deck overlooking the pond with coffee and my dog. The only thing I would mention are that there is no dishwasher and I felt like I needed to wash dishes before I used them. And maybe the owner could consider trimming just a few of the banana tree fronds so people can walk in the walkways. I would stay here again!

Definitely does NOT sleep four.

I gave a 3 star for cleanliness since we had a cockroach running around on us in the bed in the middle of the night. It was killed and disposed of. Not a good night for sleep! The bed was very comfortable, but I do not like sleeping with someone. The extra "beds" were fake leather fold out chairs that were in the kitchen. Ridiculous. And this is basically a one room space, so no door on the bedroom and no privacy. There is a ginormous TV in the kitchen over the washer and dryer, so I'm not sure who is going to relax at the kitchen table to watch. The TV in the bedroom was very small and practically mounted on the ceiling, so there was no way I could utilize the closed captions, which I require. The main problem with this stay was there was no internet. I could pick up about 20 signals from the neighbors, but not one for this house. I called and left two messages for the only phone number I could find, since there was no host info posted in the house (most all hosts have this courtesy). My email account is on my tablet, which I could not use to VRBO message the host, since I didn't have email without internet. So, being forced to sleep tandem when that is not my preference, no internet, no communication from host, meh weekend. I am mainly leaving this review to save someone else from thinking this tiny one room cabin "sleeps four."
