Nestled in a serene coastal neighborhood, this home is just a short walk from the beach. Enjoy nearby local shops, cafes, and scenic coastal trails. Whether you are here to surf, relax, explore, or simply soak in the views, this home provides the perfect base for your seaside adventure.





Surf View Hot Water Beach features 4 comfortable bedrooms:

Master Bedroom with private ensuite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe.
Bedroom 2 & 3 with shared bathroom, separate toilet.
Bedroom 4 with private bathroom downstairs.




Treat yourself to dine out at the many local eateries in the area (within a 30 minute drive) or cook up your favorite meals in our fully equipped kitchen. The pantry is stocked with cooking oil and a variety of herbs.



Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining area offers a comfortable space to enjoy your meals with stunning sea views as your backdrop.
Seating for eight, perfect for family meals or entertaining friends.

Our coastal retreat is designed to provide a seamless blend of comfort and style.

Linen & Towels are provided excl. Beach Towels which can be hired for $5.00/each.

Ecostore products are also provided at the house.
Cleaning is included in the rate, please leave the house tidy.

A portacot is available upon request and can be hired for $45.00/stay.

Please be aware that the shopping options are very limited in Hot Water Beach. There is a small store inside the HWB campground and a slightly bigger generalstore in Hahei. We recommend that you shop either in Thames or Whangamata on your way to the Coromandel.

The track to Cathedral Cove, one of the most beautiful beaches in New Zealand, reopened in December 2024. An absolute MUST DO!

Sensational view! The host, Tina was friendly and very prompt with any queries. Thank you!We- 4 of us- loved the house. It was just a short walk- 5 minutes- to the iconic Hot Water Beach. Close proximity by car to the beautiful Cathedral Cove.

The house is very clean. Pictures are accurate. We enjoyed our stay very much. The view is priceless. I feel in heaven every morning preparing breakfast with this view. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking oil and seasoning. There is no grocery store within walking distance, the closest is in Hahei, 10 minutes drive. So you might want to get groceries driving in, maybe in Tairu if you drive from Auckland. Walking to the beach takes 7 minutes. There are two eateries by the beach: hot wave cafe and hotties. We love hot wave cafe, it is such a gem: food is good and reasonably priced, macha latte is delicious, the court yard is shaded and very idyllic, great place to start your day. Highly recommended. Opens from 9am to 3pm. We went to the beach one day at low tide, we dug holes for the hot water. It is very fun. The kids played there for 3 hours, went through the whole cycle of digging holes, build a fortress for the waves, and watch the waves sweep away all the sand. Both sand and waves are of endless supply, and it provide such fun material for everyone, no matter the age. There are 3 spades in the shed of the house. We love hot water beach and enjoy the house. We look forward to returning.

Great location. Fabulous views. Well stocked kitchen. Perfect family house with lots of space and amenities. WiFi was the only issue as it was really slow which meant the TV or streaming anything was challenging. Very responsive host.

This is an outstanding property with an extremely responsive host. As other reviews have said, the house is much nicer than the photos. It is spacious, clean, comfortable, and has amazing views of Hot Water Beach. We wished we had stayed here longer. Hahei is only a ten minute drive with many dining options and a safe swimming beach. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the region.

Great family getaway!

Came for a holiday stay, enjoyed the local community. Short walk to the beach with one of the nicest views in the neighborhood! Friendly and responsive host, great accommodations, would highly recommend this property!

Wow, what a view

We had a great stay in this place. It is perfectly clean, bright and light, relaxing, well located only an short walk from Hot Water Beach, and my goodness what a view!! Tina was great to deal with - very communicative, responsive and helpful. Unlike some listings where the photos portray the property to be better than in real life, here the place is almost better in the flesh.

Beautiful house with incredible views

We absolutely loved the location and the house! Easily walkable to hot water beach. The views from the house were spectacular. Tina was very helpful in ensuring we had everything we needed. Two nights here were such a relaxing way to end our vacation.
