「Do not do business with this hotel. This hotel cancelled my reservation without notifying me before my stay. They overbooked the entire hotel and had no more rooms left even after having a booking confirmation number and payment. They also wouldn't refund me even after I wasn't able to stay there. It took 3 weeks to get my money back after many calls with them. I wouldn't ever stay here. There is however a bungalow house nearby that I'd absolutely recommend instead of this hotel. 」
「This is an excellent hotel when in transit or having early flight out of Colombo. We arrived into Colombo around midnight and our transfer driver was waiting to take us to vila diva as we had arranged which was included in the rate for our stay. The next morning we were transported very promptly back to the airport for a small fee. Both the room and transport car were exceptionally clean. I would highly recommend vila diva transit hotel for quality, service, location and friendliness」

"Firstly, when we conducted check-in, they tried to get cash from us, even though we have already paid the all of accommodation fee, through Hotel.com. It seemed that they intentionally tried to receive the money as their personal tip, and when they recognized they failed (I explained that *I have already paid through Hotel.com*), they just said *Sorry*. I think they had some success experiences that they could duplicated accommodation fee, by this trial. I was unpleasant from the beginning. Secondly, A restaurant manager strongly recommend us to choose the buffet, even though we denied many times, due to our queries. He just prioritized his profit and he never respect us. Finally he gave up to change our mind, but he never show professional attitude and just showed childish attitude (after that he just ignored us totally). We were strongly uncomfortable in the restaurant. From those reason, I don’t recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone at all. "
