Positives... Accessible stop off point Free parking WiFi Tasty breakfast Small and personal accommodation (5 rooms?) Clean bedding Cute terrace area outside rooms Tea and coffee in room TV with free view, worked well. Soft pillows and bedding Heater supplied, if needed. Pubs a short drive away. Host was welcoming. It was 200 miles from my stay in Cornwall, so I stayed after visiting two tourist spots, on my way home. Negatives Woken up in night by a talking sensor outside (4am to 5.30am) Walls so thin noises in next rooms sound like in own room. Shower not good, nor clean Not well cleaned throughout (although bedding, curtains, bedroom walls and towels were clean and fresh) Mouldy shower curtain Cold dark room (due to no sunlight getting in). Would be good on a hot summer day though! No pub to walk to, or anything walkable nearby.

Great host lovely breakfast property rather tired.

The owner was welcoming and breakfast was good. Bed comfortable and very peaceful. Quite a few cobwebs evident and shower fittings in need of attention. Lovely to have tea and coffee making facilities with the added bonus of a biscuit. Outside area needs a good spring clean. We would stay again as very conveniently placed.

It was a convenient place to stop for the night. Clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable and all pretty clean. I was happy with it, considering how inexpensive it was.

Perfect overnight stop

Shower was a bit tricky to get right the right temperature, other than that perfect room, chris was a friendly host and breakfast was absolutely spot on, would definitely stop again

Rural yet not

I had a fantastic stay. The gent who owns the property was friendly and welcoming. And made sure that everything was ok a few times during my 2 night stay. A delicious breakfast. Perfectly situated for exploring the area and a bit further beyond being just off the A303. Lovely country environment. Definitely recommend and definitely going back.
