"THE PLACE WAS NOT CLEANED BEFORE I ARRIVEDVRBO allows only 1500 characters for this review and I can not list all the issues I had in so few characters. So, in summary, the place had not been cleaned before I got there. Dirty bathroom, unwashed sheets on the smaller bed, etc. Spiderwebs in the corners, uncleaned floors. I contacted the host about how dirty the place was, who sent her daughter. The daughter was the one who was supposed to have cleaned the place before I got there. She admitted to me that she hadn't. To be fair, she did offer to clean it then, but at that point, it was too little too late. It was in need of a deep cleaning, which should have been done before I ever got there. While I didn't expect this place to be fancy in any way, I did expect it to be cleaned. That's really the main thing. It was bad enough that I opted to leave and find a better place to stay. The host ignored my request for a refund, given the place had not been cleaned prior to my arrival.I wish I had read the reviews before I booked. Some people love this place and I guess if it was clean, it would have been fine. But you'll see other reviews like mine where the place just wasn't clean.In addition, quite a few pictures on this listing have nothing to do with this place. This is not an apartment at some nice resort with a gigantic pool and waterslides, gym, community room, etc. This is an apartment above someone's garage with an above ground pool in the backyard."

"We enjoyed our stay at this Victorian B&B. The bed was comfortable, the room was warm and cozy and we had a delicious breakfast. It is located on a main road and is easy to find. The inn is nicely appointed. We do enjoy the charm of an old historic dwelling and the antique furnishings. Adrienne is friendly and hospitable."

"We had a perfect long Valentine’s weekend in honesdale largely due to how fantastic this cottage was. It was decorated so beautifully including seasonal touches, beds were comfy, shower was great, awesome amenities and supplies. The pictures do not do this place justice. We REALLY needed a getaway and I don’t think we could’ve designed a better one! The town is cute, lots to do and see but I really DO have to EMPHASIZE AGAIN how lovely this cottage was. It’s a whole vibe. We plan to return. Hosts were wonderful. "
