"We stay here when visiting family in the area - it is old, quaint and unique - we get a kick out of the entire experience - the bar and restaurant downstairs is great! Always an easy process in and out. "
"The people at this hotel are so amazing! They upgraded our room at no charge to celebrate us being newly weds. The hotel is the perfect place for a weekend getaway and we will be back. "
"This was our first visit to this region. The area and property was beautiful. The hotel staff was solicitous and the breakfast was very tasty. We had a great time."

Honesdale Cabin on 110-Acre Farm: Pets Welcome!
2/10 Terrible
"This property had water damage. There was accually a hole in the kitchen ceiling. There was mold in the hole and also on the bottom of the walls in the bathroom. The linoleum on the kitchen floor was wavy. The property was dirty. The fan that came with the property was dirty and had hair hanging out the back of it. There was hair and dirt around the couch. There were ants and other bugs. The AC was insufficient to even cool the main room with all the other doors closed. There was a hole in the floor around the sink drain pipe in the bathroom and the linoleum was cracked. My biggest problem with the property was the abundance of toxic mold. I am astounded that someone would think that they could rent out a property in this condition. "
"Morgan's cabin is located in a beautiful secluded area with an amazing view of the sunset followed by fireflies and stars. The fire pit was awesome and the rooms were spacious and cozy. We barely noticed the other guests because our area was so big, but it was nice seeing them at the fire pit too. Morgan was incredibly nice and communicative. Highly recommend staying at this wonderful home."
"We enjoyed staying at the Bully rescue. It was a quiet and peaceful get away from every day with a rustic break away from complicated everyday. The animals were a delight. So bring your carrots and granola. The animals were sweet. Thanks to the host and the availability. Kids would love it."
"I love hotel Wayne for its historical character, its distance to everything honesdale, and having the restaurant & bar downstairs with Paulies food directly behind it. The 2 bedroom apartment is over the wine room which is nice since it’s a private (and only 1 ) stairway. While there’s limited hotel accommodations, this one will give you everything you need. I will always upgrade from the standard room (which I’ve stayed in - there’s a reason for upgrading !)"
"It was amazingly and generously well stocked. Comfortable, with lovely grounds. Near Honesdale (a surprising and lovely town).Lots of good restaurants.I’m 82 and struggled somewhat with entering the place. (Emails had to be verified and would time out before I could complete the transaction) Wish we could have texted directly."
