"A bit of a weird stay. One notices that the hotel is trying hard to be seen as a higher level facility, only to fall over on some small things.
First, I apparently booked a room in the annex, which was not clear to me, and therefore can be simply attributed to my oversight. The distance is not far, but the annex operates with zero oversight. Getting in was easy. Getting out in the morning, with shutters drawn on one of the entrances, and no clearly marked exits, not so much.
Freshly renovated room, but with a minimum of electricity sockets. Table on one side of the room, sockets on the other. Unless you brought a 3m extension cord, forget getting some work done at the table. No outlet in the bathroom either (hair drying, shaving, anyone?).
The biggest downer, however, was an airplane-like boxed breakfast hung outside the room. Among other things, bread and butter, and two spoons - well, you learn to spread the butter with a spoon real quick. Also, a cup, and nothing else - what was the cup for, one wonders? Not adequate for this price. Needs improvement."
