「Convenient location, close to Tsugaike and Iwatake where the property owner will drop you daily in the morning and pick up in the afternoon on request. The shuttle bus stop to the other resorts is a short walk from the accommodation. Alan is a good host and is very friendly and obliging. He picked us up on short request when we picked up our ski gear on the first day and dropped us off where we wanted to drop our ski gear on the last day. 「I really enjoyed my time at Dark Horse. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming, and helped out in many ways, both big and small. Breakfasts and dinners were good and the lounge/dining room was a comfortable place to relax after riding. It was great value for the money. I would recommend it, and would stay there again without hesitation.」

「Lovely staff who genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. Very comfortable beds in basic but clean rooms. Great common area with nice amenities. We felt very at home. While the location is great for skiing - lift is right across the street, it was very hard to get into town, to grocery, etc. 」

「ほとんどのお客さんは外国人です。オーナーの人柄でしょうか、皆さんフレンドリーで、私たちも連日、カナディアンやオージーと日本酒を酌み交わし、とても楽しい旅になりました。基本、自炊ですが、基本的な調味料、調理道具は揃っており、数部屋あるリビングでたべます。その際、他のお客さんとコミュニケーションをとるのですが、私は基本英語が喋れませんが、何の問題もありませんでした。機会が有ればまた再訪したくなる宿です。超オススメ！」
