"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. As repeat guests we appreciate the upgrades that the new owners have done. New furniture, kitchen utensils, dish ware and pots and pans made a huge improvement. We have already booked for next year. Incredible views, lake access and a comfortable place make this one of our favorite get aways."

"The property itself was perfect for our needs, and also reasonably priced. The check-in was unintuitive, as the code entry used an unfamiliar keypad and the instructions were incomplete. The host did not reply to messages in real time, but with a neighbor's help we got in within a few minutes."

"It’s like a big treehouse with an awesome deck 3 sides around. Hot tubParty lights too! Tons of seating in and out! It has tons of very large windows with gorgeous green tree views from every where! Easy to find and very near Lake Lure, We loved it! Thx Ashley!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful log cabin! The quiet cove was perfect for relaxing, and the swimming was amazing—it truly is a swimmer's paradise. The cabin was warm, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great family vacation.The kids absolutely loved the game room, which kept them entertained for hours, and we enjoyed spending time together on the lake. Bob was an outstanding host—friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed.It was also great to visit the Chimney Rock and Lake Lure area. While the community is still recovering, it's inspiring to see the resilience of the local people, and we were happy to support the area during our visit.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside getaway!"

"The information about the internet connection provided by Vrbo was incorrect. Fortunately, there was a sheet of paper in the cabin with correct information. The bed was very soft--so soft that it was hard to even sit on the edge of the bed without sliding off. The access information provided by Vrbo was incorrect--there was no place to enter the access code. Fortunately, the cabin was unlocked and there were keys on the kitchen counter. It is a delightful little cabin which served us well."
