"This was our first visit to Ishigaki. The hotel is a bit removed from the airport or sea port, but the sunrise and calm views more than make up for it. Staff is excellent! "

"It’s not glamping it’s a boutique hotel. Close to beach and good spot in the middle of ishigaki. Rooms were fantastic cabanas. Very comfortable. Nice sauna, pool was not heated which was the only drawback. we visited in winter. Dinner was huge and good value for bbq beef on a patio. Cheap beers and fireworks. Excellent free breakfast. Good romantic retreat not a family vibe. Isolated so you need a car!"

"We loved the privacy. That is what you’re paying for here. You are completely away from the world in this little tropical dream. The pool was amazing. We also liked snorkeling at blue cave and didn’t mind that it seems to be used for tour guides. I felt better being in the ocean with a few people around. Then back to the solitude of our house. Of course there are spiders and other critters given that you are somewhere tropical. The house lizards were cute. Make sure to stock up on anything you want before your stay so you don’t have to leave. Oh, also the chef is amazing and will accommodate any dietary restrictions if you notify them with enough time. "Very isolated place and old style . If you are solo not ideal and also need a car for sure as infrequent buses and little communication on this in the property . Nothing around - the hotel cafe closed and was not notified before I booked. This is more like an isolated Airbb . It’s a nice cottage inside but no front Sesk or cafe There is a cafe nearby but instant coffee and spam - place nearby is the “ beer terrace “ but also not open much . Overall I would not recommend at all and I had to move out after a day due to the challenges . Looks neglected "
