Comfortable home, ton's of seating areas and nicely stocked. Loved the location, beautiful quite neighborhood and we really enjoyed riding the bikes to downtown area. Property manger was very responsive.

Very much enjoyed staying at the property. You can tell the owners take pride in their property and supplied many extra details such as bikes and beach chairs that made it even more enjoyable.Highly recommend.

The neighborhood of this home was beautiful and quiet. The location to to beach was definitely bailable and an enjoyable ride. The layout of the home is great. The home could use some updating as some areas look tired, specifically the bathrooms. The king beds are comfortable however, the curtains are too small for the door and can’t be closed fully. It would also be nice to have ceiling fans in all bedrooms. The pool/ hot tub is nice but the heating far is unreasonable..600 for 4 days. We did have a significant issue with the guest bathroom as the shower handle broke off when trying to turn it off and the water could t be turned off. The homeowner was quick to get it fixed for us.

The property was as described and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the shade provided by the under house area. Very nice perk having a refrigerator there. The neighborhood was quiet and the yard offered privacy. The kitchen was very well supplied. The house overall was very comfortable. The only thing we could have asked for is a toilet downstairs for pool days. The walk to the beach is pretty long in the heat of summer.

Great house stocked with everything you may need. We felt location was perfect - neighborhood is stunning to walk or bike and beach access (.52mi) was easy to either walk or bike. House has a bunch of bikes to use, puzzles, games, beach cart, etc. The dock was nice to nature watch (we had blue heron that kept us company next to dock). The communication with Mike (prop manager) owners was fantastic and resolutions for minor issues were near immediate. I would stay here again, we really enjoyed it.

Amazing Vacation

Amazing vacation home managed by an even more amazing host. This is by far one of the best experiences I have ever had renting a property. The home is pristine and the pictures don't do it justice. My wife and 2 year old were amazed at the property and we felt like it was a home away from home. We loved how peaceful and quiet the property is and fully enjoyed the pool (when my daughter saw the pool for the first time, she couldn't stop saying "wow"). The house is filled with everything you need for a family from a fully stocked kitchen, to beach towels, to toys/entertainment for all ages. My daughter especially enjoyed playing with the toy kitchen... I want to send an extra thanks to Melissa, the owner, for accommodating us. The day of our original reservation my daughter suffered an injury that would've delayed our trip and prevented her from going in the pool. But Melissa reached out and offered to move our trip so she can enjoy the pool. She made us feel like family and we are so grateful she was able to give us a vacation filled with memories. Thank you!

Heritage without the golf

AMAZING - so calm and peaceful. Easy to reserve and easy to check in. The owners provide an amazing amount of extras from beach chairs, pool floats, to a stacked kitchen. Best of all were all of the beach towels!!! Can't wait to stay again. Went for the golf but stayed at beach and pool.

Relaxing & Rejuvenating

The house was just as described and well appointed. We took our three kids for spring break. Our son is in college and enjoyed his own room & bathroom. He was able to get some work done in between looking for lizards outside & getting some sun. Our girls are juniors in high school and were also glad to have their own bedroom and bathroom. The pool was great & the weather was perfect for relaxing in the sun and shaking off the winter blahs. My husband and enjoyed going for long walks on the beach each day and getting our feet into the ocean…it will be a long time before Lake Michigan is warm enough for that again. The community of Palmetto Dunes is so peaceful and quiet. We had a great time!

Awesome home!

This house truly has everything you need bikes,pool toys, children’s toys, ping pong table, beach chairs, beach towels, beach cart! Also pack and play and high chair. 3bedrooms, 3baths! The house has all the room you need plus more! Screened porch and outside room was so enjoyable!! Beds are comfortable and all furniture including out door furniture are top quality! Kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with spices !! We have been vacationing in Hilton Head for many years now and this is a favorite!!! Thank you Melissa for sharing your Family Tides Home!!!

Vacation Paradise

This property was perfect for our stay. We had four adults and two children 2 and 4. Plenty of open space in living and dining area, bedrooms great size. Great pool area space and yard. Extra bonus was the toys and games for the kids that were on the property. Plenty of bikes to use. Would highly recommend and will stay there again.

Palmetto Dunes - family fun!

We loved our time spent with family at this comfortable home in Palmetto Dunes. We enjoyed morning runs in the peaceful neighborhood along the quiet shaded streets. The beach is just a few blocks away making it easy for little ones to ride their bikes and easy to push a stroller there. Public parking at the beach is just a mile away near the guard building. The pool at the home is great and the kiddos and adults enjoyed the water and spa. (Inquire about the heating fee). The house has lots of toys and pool toys. The landscaping in the backyard was done nicely and well-maintained (since you’ll be out there swimming you may wonder LOL) Although there is a lot of trees on the property there is plenty of sun to be had at the pool. The covered lower part of the home at pool level was super nice to get out of the sun and still be a part of the action. The kiddos enjoyed lunch there often. We fished off of the dock of the lagoon but only one fish was caught all week (this may be salt water here and not fresh?) A small gator and lots of wildlife were seen. A young deer even enjoyed the property two of the mornings and nibbled on the bushes. We enjoyed the screened in porch for morning coffee and a quiet start to the day. The house itself was great with plenty of room for all. Our family likes cooking meals and grilling together. The kitchen was well stocked. There is a Keurig and also a regular coffee pot. Lots of positives so we will be back. Thank you again Ken and Melissa! : )

Great week in August

Our family of four (two kids) had a wonderful stay. Beautiful pool and back yard. The bikes on the property were really appreciated. Our kids also loved all the games and toys. If you have a family and want to stay in Hilton Head (Palmetto Dunes, in particular), definitely consider this property.

Great place!

The location and surrounding area was absolutely perfect! Very peaceful and serene….just what we needed! The house looks just as the pictures online. We had a couple minor issues during our stay, however, the responsiveness of the property manager and owner were top notch!

Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing

From the moment we walked in the door the house was beautiful. The amenities were top notch. With 3 small children I couldn’t imagine a more accommodating home. We loved our stay! The owners are very helpful and kind. The property manager was beyond friendly! We had a wonderful experience!

Beautiful home!

Beautiful home, quiet location. 5 minute bike ride to the beach. This home is well maintained with everything you need. Owners really go above and beyond with stocking the home. Owner responded quickly to questions and property manager was excellent. 5 out of 5 stars!

Awesome Holiday House

We loved this beautiful home and it immediately felt like home to our entire family. It was tastefully and simply decorated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would normally need to prepare and enjoy meals together. It was close to the beach and we took full advantage of the bikes which were provided. The pool and entertainment area were great- especially considering we had several days of un-Hilton Head like weather. Loved the home!

The Best of Hilton Head Island

This beautiful property in the Palmetto Dunes was fantastic. The property had great amenities and all the necessities for our stay. The seamless check-in was quick and easy. The property was pristine and the community was wonderful to walk or bike around, the beach was easily accessible. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I’ll definitely be bringing my family back here.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house! Everything you would need is provided. Since we had a 5 year old and 2 thirteen year olds, having pool toys, ping pong and bikes made it perfect.

Great house & location!

The property is as shown in the pictures and the reviews are completely accurate! The house was very clean and stocked with everything you need for a week's stay. We heated the pool and spa & it was warm all week. Mike checked in on us and handled a few issues with the pool & cable very quickly. Bikes were great as were the beach chairs & umbrella (came in handy as weather was warmer than expected). Location in PD is great, easy bike over to shops at Shelter Cove. Beach access is very close and easy to bike or walk to if needed. Only bummer is the trees are constantly dropping/shedding so the pool got filled with pollen and moss (?) so we had to skim it all the time. We would skim and be in the pool and it would be filling as we swam. Not sure if that is b/c the time of year or will happen all the time. Advice - take bug spray, sunscreen (especially on windy days!) & allergy medicine! Thanks for a fun week!

Spring Break Trip to HHI

We had a great stay in HHI! The property was better in person than the pictures show (which doesn't happen often). Mike, the property manager was very responsive and checked in on us a few times throughout our stay. The bikes in the garage were definitely a huge bonus as we were able to bike everywhere! We especially loved just relaxing in the back yard fishing from the dock, feeding birds (almost right out of our hands) and swimming! We will definitely be back!!! Wonderful property and hosts!
