I found Royalton to be an excellent alternative to the expensive chain hotels in the area. It is not a spa resort, or a destination hotel. It is a practical, moderately priced hotel that provides a clean, comfortable, quiet room to spend a restful night. I found it to be an ideal place for an overnight or a few day stay for area activities.

The room was basic, but clean. The bed and pillows were not that great, but it worked for a one night stay. Breakfast was small bagels, waffles warmed up in the toaster, and muffins. The front desk staff was nice.

The room phone didn't work so I could not contact the desk.There were people partying out in the parking lot both days that I lodged there.One group was right outside my window so I couldn't get to sleep.I was able to obtain the desk number from my cell phone and I had to call them twice before they did any thing.

The overall experience was okay. The rooms were nice enough the room amenities were a nice touch decent size fridge and microwave. I was disappointed with the pool and workout room. The pool was open but the water was green and the workout room was closed. But there's a lot of nearby parks to get exercise at. For the money it's worth it. I would stay again.

The hotel was run down and needed to be updated, but it was clean. Bed was comfortable. Hours of operation for the pool is noon-9 PM, so that's a little inconvenient. The continental breakfast was minimal, but was better than nothing.

The property is not at all clean inside or out. The walls in this room look like they haven’t been washed ever. There’s a tremendous amount of peeling paint in the bathroom. This property has been severely neglected.

Checked in here after leaving a bug infested hotel that was nearby. This place was quiet, clean, and I was able to easily access my room and car. Pool was a nice plus.

Everything was old and dirty. Shower wasn’t clean. Weird musty smell. Pool was opaque green and was open for swimming! Nasty place. Do not stay there . None of the light fixtures worked. Bulbs would blink then go out. Remote wouldn’t work for tv

Room was clean and quiet. Bed was just ok, not good, not bad. The free breakfast was very skimpy. I should have just gone to the Waffle House down the street. The actually did have a nice looking pool.

The room was clean and nice. Exterior side door not secure. Hallways were weren't air conditioned and public areas not very clean. Staff does not speak English very well. Hard to communicate.
