"Waited 30 minutes for staff to check in no one came so we left to go eat dinner. Came back and waited 5 minutes for staff to come out of office to check in. Pool was closed ( one reason we booked). Breakfast was ok. Muffins were hard, eggs bland so breakfast was ok. Shower pressure sucked! Room was nice and comfortable but got hot in middle of night."

"I understand it is an older hotel but the conditions of the rooms are terrible .You walk in and it smells like smoke and mildew .Very old and dirty chairs a person wouldn’t dare sit in .The bed had springs in the mattress not comfortable at all .Bathroom was dirty , found a dead roach on the floor , old shampoo and soap and a floor towel in the tub .The wallpaper by the door had been wet and was peeling down , curtains were very old and yellowed from smoke .Only positive was location .Will not be staying here again"

"My husband, daughter, granddaughter and I stayed three nights at this beautiful house. It was very clean with comfortable beds and furniture. It was well-stocked having everything we needed. We enjoyed visiting the area around Paris. The owner was very quick to reply and we appreciated her generosity and kindness."

"The kitchen counters and table were dirty with crusted food along with the stove top, which I had to scrub them all off. Oven was nasty dirty. there were plenty of dishes and glasses but as far a pans went, the only clean useable was 2 sauce pans There was a small griddle type one that still had food on it, /disgusting. I went out and purchased my own pans to use. The floors were dirty, not mopped. I dropped an egg on it and when I cleaned you could see the filthy on the floor on the paper towel. The bathroom sinks and counters had toothpaste splash from the previous people. Long black hair on the floor in the hall Bathroom, I swept it up. The hand soap, or lack of only had an 1/8 amounts in them. The hall bathroom did not have any, I took the one from the kitchen so there would be soap for handwashing. I had everyone add some of their hair soap to them so they had enough for the weekend. The living room and Bedrooms were decent and there was a good supply of towels. The were a couple things that I addressed to the owner, Window in upstairs did not close all the way and the screws in the smaller bedroom door top hinge were gone causing the door to slant and catch when opening and closing of it. This did not effect our stay and told him it could be fixed after we left. There was a pool table and bag set in the lower level which we did enjoyed using. Poison Ivy along walk way needs to be address as you must be very careful to not come in contact with it."

Home Sweet Home Bed & Breakfast

"Bailey and Leslie went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They were friendly and welcoming but also gave us our privacy. The food was amazing all 3 mornings we were at Home Sweet Home. We stayed in the Paris Suite and found the bed to be very comfortable and the suite to be clean & spacious There were plenty of fans to circulate the air around the room and lamps to lighten up the space. If you ever find yourself in Paris tn, I would highly recommend staying at Home Sweet Home Bed and Breakfast. Thanks Bailey and Leslie for sharing your place with us!"

"The room was absolutely disgusting. Door looked like it was kicked in multiple times. Door frame busted. Probably over 900 stairs on the walls/floors and ceilings. Floor was broken and buckled from water damage with a hole in the bathroom. Beds had hundreds of stains on them. Room and bathroom reaked of cigarettes and it was a non smoking room. Every outlet was loose and falling out of the wall and didn’t work. All the nobs were missing on the dresser. Tv remote was sticky. Had to run the shower for 15 minutes to finally have barely warm water and the pressure was barely past a dribble. 10/10 would not reccomend. Also it’s 100% non refundable and you can not view the room unless you pay in advance for atleast 3 days. Most of the people that stay there actually live there. Highly sus"
