Wow! This cabin is simply special. Yes, many steps to access the cabin but the trek is worth the reward. The outside spaces are just perfect. We spent each morning on the side deck off the kitchen drinking our coffee and listening to the creek across the street and watching and listening to the birds.
The swing on the front side was quite enjoyable and we even witnessed several hummingbirds. The hot tub was such a hit especially after hiking. Although we enjoyed it a few mornings when the temps were in the low 60’s. The grill was a nice touch along with the cool fireplace next to the equally cool stream flowing down. You could feel the temp difference by just being near the stream.
Inside you will find many details and a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. The beds were comfortable and plenty of blankets -- if needed. Bathroom equally stocked with plenty of well appointed towels.
The bar is set quite high for kids as the kids room had lots of dress ups, toys, games, etc. For the adults there are games and plenty of books. Along with coffee and coffee grinder if necessary.
While we did spend several days "in", we did venture to Asheville, Lake Lure and Chimney Top all quite convenient to the cabin.
You won't be disappointed saying at this gem!
