Our room (cottage) was perched 180 ft above the beach. It was perfectly outfitted with porch, kitchen, bedroom w king size bed. The bathroom was amazing with separate shower and toilet rooms. Both were overlooking the ocean and beach and entire grounds. The entire building was done in local, highly polished, hardwood. The downside is if you don’t have a car rental the taxi fare is 70,000 xfp so stay a few days.

We stayed for 11 days and truly enjoyed the entire experience. The staff were amazing, friendly, knew our names and our favorite drinks every time we walked to the bars/restaurants. Check-in was easy and friendly. We were in Bungalow 9 which was amazing - we couldn't see any other huts from our bungalow or our deck. Sunrise huts are great because they get full sun on the deck from sunrise until about 4:30pm which is awesome! Some of the other units didn't have full sun all day.

My husband and I stayed at the Pearl Beach for 9 nights to celebrate our 15 year anniversary. The hotel service was fantastic, being greeted each morning by our names by the second day. The hotel was quiet, allowing for rest and relaxation. The views were fabulous and the hotel grounds were exceptionally clean. We treated ourselves to the couples massage and it was fantastic, and also did the jet ski lagoon tour--a definite must! We will definitely be going back!!

The room is a little wear out but we can not complain for the price of an overwater bungalow with a magnificent view to the lagoon. Room cleaning service is done everyday and did a good job. Maitai Lupita was fantastic. They had a very friendly staff. The bungalows were very spacious. They were extremely accommodating and all were so very nice. Although they beach area wasn't the best, you can rent a bike, scooter, four wheeler or car and drive the island. I highly recommend it. It was the most beautiful tour we took ourselves. The island is clean and well manicured. Breath taking views. Maitai Lupita also gave us great recommendations on where to stop. They were amazing!

Everything about this hotel was fine. The room is large enough, it is clean an comfortable. The restaurant is right on the beach edge. The service is great. The only thing I would recommend is to extend the breakfast time to 10 am instead of 9 am.
