"We booked online as soon as Delta informed us our six-hour delayed flight would not arrive at DFW until after 2AM. Since we live 2.5 hours away from DFW we wanted to ensure we had a place to stay. No sooner had our reservation processed through Hotel.com Delta canceled our flight. We immediately called the hotel to explain what happened and they refused to refund the stay. Zero customer service. Stay away"

"My sister and best friend have done brief trips over the years together. We enjoyed the Blue Horizon for a number of reasons: it really is very close to the town square where we went every day; the whole house is very clean and the kitchen works well.The host is very responsive. She got back to us on any question or problem that we had and took care of it quickly. She told us the thermostat could be finicky so when we had a problem, her husband came over to take care of it. Tammy was a great host!"

"The home is exactly as shown in the pictures, all updated and done beautifully. We were here for a baseball tournament, so a kitchen and washer and dryer are important to us. The home was all remodeled, incredibly clean with all updated appliances and finishes. The home has all the kitchen items you could need to cook any meal and 2 coffee makers. The beds were comfortable, you have private parking spaces, and the back yard is a wonderful place to spend time. What was really amazing is that the owner is an artist so the home is beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches that an artist would do. The communication was also amazing. At check-in there were a few small issues including 2 windows not having locks and the fridge had an issue, they addressed with a handyman in less than 15 mins. The location is right down from an amazing square with many shops and restaurants. I also liked that they allowed us to use the alarm which I do in my own home. This is an absolute gem."

"Great location. The loft is in the middle of the downtown historic district. Lot of options for dining , shopping, and night life. The owners were very responsive to any questions. This is a great option if you are interested in staying in McKinney."

"Pros: The room was clean smelled clean spacious and felt refresh A/C blew really cold so that was a plus in the Texas heat. Parking was plentiful so many shopping centers and restaurants less than 5 minutes away from the hotel. The staff was very helpful showed up a little early due to weather canceling things and front desk got me checked in early! Con’s: Small bathroom and parking lot smelled most times with that oyster restaurant dumpster being across from the main parking lot Other than that great value for your buck and I’m a travel ball parent so I will be booking again if the price is right!"

"Perfect little house for our trip to the downtown McKinney historic district. Fun area of town for browsing cute shops and eating delicious food. Kevin offered multiple ideas on where to eat and what to see! The house has been meticulously updated and redecorated…such attention to detail!! Loved our 3 nights here and even inquired about staying a couple of more nights. Unfortunately for us, the house was already booked for the next month! If you have the opportunity to rent this house, you won’t regret it"
