"The lady at the reception was extremely nice. Breakfast was ok, nothing too special. The room we were given had a weird smell but the hotel treated us really nicely and we got a replacement almost immediately. Overall good experience "

"booked 2 nights here. rooms are very outdated for the rates that i paid although the rooms are large size. I work nights and was woken up at 8am due to VERY LOUD construction happening upstairs both nights. I had a better chance of sleeping on a park bench than in this place. Called the front desk for them to say "I dont hear anything". They sent a 'technician' up who heard the racket and offered to switch the room 2 hours before check out! horrible"

"After a good few years, I decided to return to the Opus Hotel. Unfortunately, the disappointment was—and remains—even greater than before. This is certainly not a 5-star hotel. There is no on-site restaurant or bar (though there are two restaurants located within the building). The breakfast service—staffed by only a single waiter taking orders at tables set with tablecloths that had clearly already served several other guests before you—does not make for a very good start to the day. As for the room, there is no minibar, and the bed linens are worn and torn. You have to specifically ask for a bathrobe and slippers. In the bathroom, I found a clogged toilet bowl and a used bar of soap left behind. In the spa, time seems to have stood still; you get ushered out of the pool area even before closing time. The staff—tired and overworked (really?)—seem to be asking, "What do you want from us?!" For over $400 for a single night mid-week, I have every right to expect certain standards to be upheld—especially given that this hotel claims to be a 5-star establishment!"

"Great spot to stay - accessible to lots of spots in Westchester. Easy parking and a gym too."

"Stayed for 5 nights. The air filter was absolutely polluted with dust, it looked like it hasn’t been changed in a year. Our son got an allergic reaction to the dust and had to take him to the ER during our stay. One of the beds did not have a comforter which we reported upon arrival. We were told for 3 straight days that it would be delivered and was not. It was finally delivered as we were checking out. I am a work traveler and have seen it all but the service and cleanliness were way below acceptable standards. Would not recommend. "

"I was traveling as an RN to take care of a patient. Customer service was terrible. Either no one answered the phone upon arrival to White Plains from Ohio or my call was disconnected. I was trying to get the code to enter the property in order to take care of my patient. It took me over an hour to finally reach someone who would give me the code. Then I received an email with another room number after I had been trying to enter the original room with that code I had been given via email. You made check in very hard and difficult. Then during check out. I would get a text with one set of instructions and an email with conflicting instructions. Get your act together. Have someone answer the phones."
