「到着して、真っ先に驚いたのは大音量のポップミュージックでした。ホテルのグランドフロアーがクラブになって踊ったり、お酒お飲んだりとかそんな場所でした。のでチェックインカウンターも小さな机一つと戸惑うことばかり部屋は2部屋でベッドもダブルベッドとシングルベッドがおかれてあり、小さなキッチンもあり広がったです。ホテル付近は下町で風情はありますが、治安は良くない感じがしました。この辺り一帯が昔からの労働者の町だったんでしょうね、イギリスの一面を見れて良かったです。ホテルのスタッフは感じ良かったです。」

「Highly recommend. The hotel was clean, modern and rooms very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks of an evening were relaxed and on the Friday and Saturday there were singers on. The swimming pool and spa facilities were lovely. More water fountains needed! Breakfast was tasty and good quality, however on the Saturday morning we had to wait about 20 minutes for eggs! The younger members of staff were not the best at responding to requests unless more senior members of...

「Black mould around the bath. Inadequate heating, the radiators didn’t switch on and made the room quite cold. My room tv arial was broken, however the receptionist was very helpful and sourced me another arial cable from another room. 」

「キール大学での学会参加で連泊しました。スタッフは爽やかな接客で迎えてくれます。お部屋も広くきれいで快適、ロンドンでは考えられない安さでした。London Euston → Stoke on Trent → 25番バスでアクセスできましたよ。他の方の情報によるとStokeからタクシーも安くて便利(10分ちょっと)、朝ご飯メニューは毎日同じだったとのこと。レストラン、コーヒーショップ、バーが揃っていますが、周囲にお店は何もないのでそこだけ注意です。とても快適な数日間でした。」

「We had a wonderful stay at Curlew Cottage. The location is great with fantastic views over the dales, although the weather was against us a bit. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. Everything we needed for self catering was provided. The only thing we would have liked was a mattress topper as my wife and I found the bed a little firm, but that is personal preference. 「We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. 」

「There was little or no noise from the pub. The only noise near my room was other guests arriving and departing. Parking was no problem. Staff were very pleasant and, due to them, I was able to get my head down in good time as I had been up all the previous night. This was followed by a very sound night's sleep. Breakfast was perfectly adequate for me (cereal and toast). The evening meal I had booked was again perfectly satisfactory. For my one night's stay, the experience was fine. 」

「Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. 」
