Cold Shower

The place looks appealing and neat looking. The beer and the food is good. Staff are friendly enough, but thats where it ends. Looks like they cheaped out on the rooms. No TV, no radio, no phone, no clock. Nothing in the room but the bare minimum of furniture. Some people may like that rustic type of stay, which includes no hot water. Tried to take a shower, but the hot water lasted about a minute (no exageration) and went cold. There was one main light that still left the room rather dark and one light in the bathroom, switched on from by the main door. And the bathroom fan had a very annoying sound. I normally like to keep thebathroom light on so i can find it in the middle of the night. But not with that fan noise. Even the bed was a bit uncomfortable. The pillows felt like they were as old as the building. Did not sleep well at all. I definately would not stay there again.

Wir hatten die Suite für 4 Personen, außergewöhnlich groß, sehr schön, alles da. Der Empfang war super, das Frühstück sehr lecker, der Service klasse - wir werden dieses Hotel sehr gerne weiterempfehlen!

Liebevolle Oase

Rundum zufrieden und positiv überrascht, vom sauberen Zimmer mit beruhigenden Weserblick über das gelunden experimentierfreudige Abendessen (Schnitzel um die Welt), bis zum hochwertig regionalen Frühstück, bei dem der sehr gute Filterkaffee das Fehlen eines anderswo üblichen mittelmäßigen Vollautomaten gerne verschmerzen lässt.

Das Einzelzimmer hatte ein „ Kinderbett“, zu schmal, zu kurz und eingebaut. Ansonsten war das Zimmer ok. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber die Preise für die Region überrissen. Der Service war schlecht. Abends wollten wir noch einen Wein trinken wurden aber nie bedient. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut. Leider gab es kein Rührei bzw. Spiegelei.

Balsam für die Seele

Schon beim Reinkommen war eine sehr angenehme, warme, herzliche Atmosphäre zu spüren. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und wir hatten direkt das Gefühl: wir kennen uns. Die Zimmer sind einfach und gemütlich, der Blick auf die Weser fantastisch und das Essen absolut wunderbar. Ob vor dem Hotel, als auch im Restaurant wurde dekorativ mit Liebe zum Detail ländlich eine Wohlfühloase gestaltet. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen, die Viefältigkeit, Frische und Selbstgemachtes haben uns wirklich einen wunderbaren Start in den Tag bereitet. Wir bedanken uns aufs herzlichste und kommen sehr gern wieder.

Unterkunft war in einem alten Mühlengebäude am Weserradweg.Ruhige Lage,bei alten Häuser üblich knarzen im Flur aber das stört gar nicht.Liebevoll renoviertes Zimmer,tolles Bad.Super freundliches Personal und ganz tolle und ausgefallene Küche gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis.Sehr zu empfehlen und unkompliziert.

Mein Empfang war sehr freundlich. Mir wurde sofort die Möglichkeit angeboten, mein Fahrrad sicher und trocken unterzustellen. Das Zimmer wurde mir persönlich gezeigt. Das fand ich total nett. Das Zimmer war sehr freundlich eingerichtet. Die sanitären Anlagen waren wie das Zimmer super sauber. Das Bett super bequem. Ich habe sehr gut geschlafen. Am nächsten Morgen gab es ein leckeres Frühstück. Ich würde jederzeit wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten. Am Abend habe ich dann super leckeren Pfannkuchen mit Wokgemüse gegessen, total lecker. Sehr schöne Unterkunft für den Einstieg in den Weser Radweg.

Außergewöhnliche ländliche Unterkunft

Diese Unterkunft mit Restaurant ist für Reisende passend, die individuelle Lösungen mögen. Kein 0815 Kettenhotel, nicht steril. Eher urig, teilrenoviert, Kompromisse eingehend. Lage: in einer Kurve, direkt an der Landstraße, die das Gebäude vom Gelände des Klosters und den Wiesen des Weserufers trennt. Die Unterkunft liegt also nicht direkt auf dem Klostergelände. Vorsicht beim Überqueren der Straße, denn auf Landstraßen wird leider oft gerast. Es fahren jedoch speziell in der Nacht kaum Autos dort, die Nachtruhe ist ungestört. Allenfalls brummt abends und morgens der Küchenabzug im Hof. Parken: großer Parkplatz Empfang: freundlich und persönlich. Treppenhaus: teilrenoviert Zimmer: unser Familienzimmer hatte die Größe einer kleinen Wohnung und bestand aus zwei großen Schlafzimmern, Flur und Bad mit Dusche. Alles renoviert, weiße Ikeamöbel, gute Matratzen, frische Profibettwäsche und Handtücher. LED Leuchten am Duschtassenrand, Regenwasserbrause. Im Detail waren manche Renovierungsarbeiten etwas laienhaft ausgeführt, aber egal für 2 Nächte. Gegen den Siphongeruch wurde gleich etwas mit Essig (=gut) und Raumspray (=ungut) unternommen. Ist bei uralten Häusern eben so, auch kleinere Wasserschäden gehören dazu. Frühstück: für fünf Euro gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Allenfalls mehr Sorten von Brötchen wären gut. Dafür bester Quark und tolle selbstgemachte Marmeladen sowie echte Landmettwurst. Essen im Restaurant: sehr aufmerksame Bedienung. Schöne Spaziergänge in der Umgebung.
