"Nice quiet hotel in a residential area! Old building but has an elevator, long winding corridor to my room but had everything I needed including parking! Very helpful staff and a pleasant two day stay, slept in on the first night, tired after a long drive. "So I will start by saying, I spent two weeks in Europe. This was my last stop. I always hope I save the best for last but unfortunately, that is went the case. This hotel was good but not the best. I actually ended up liking the neighborhood. It was residential and walkable. The neighbors and people who worked at the local businesses were nice and helpful. It was a very culturally diverse neighborhood. The actual property was as good. The person who maintains it or at least does the cleaning (Emmanuel) was friendly and helpful. The space was clean. There was a slight odor and the air circulation was lacking in June where it was 80 degrees. They did not respond on Hotel.com where I booked which was annoying because I had to call the number just to receive the WiFi code. Overall, not a bad stay. Hamburg is very metro accessible and I figured that out on my own. No frills space but decent and private."
