In Gujan-Mestras, on the very site where the store (*) once stood, where the owner and her family worked, packed, and shipped oysters from the Arcachon Bay, this comfortable seaside cottage for two now stands. Located on the edge of a reservoir where neighboring oyster farmers store their oysters, and along the road that connects the seven ports of Gujan, this cottage will be the ideal and unique retreat for your vacation in the Arcachon Bay. Built in 2017 to the latest standards of comfort, the Ustrote seaside cottage is located between the ports of Larros and Gujan, in the heart of oyster farming, with an exceptional view. Its rooms are spread over two levels: on the ground floor, there is the living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge with a sofa opening onto the terrace with garden furniture, as well as a bathroom with a toilet. Upstairs, there is the bedroom, open to the staircase (not closed), equipped with two single beds and a private bathroom. Reversible air conditioning, television, and Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels are provided. Heating and end-of-stay cleaning are included. Private parking. The cottage faces the railway line. The cottage adjoins another rental property. This 3-star cottage has the Naturelle Bassin label. The body of water at the foot of the cottage is a saltwater reservoir, fed by a lock according to the needs of neighboring businesses, depending on the tides. For safety reasons and in accordance with the management regulations for this body of water, swimming, fishing, water sports (canoeing, etc.), and dumping or disposing of solids or liquids are prohibited. As the site is protected, it is forbidden to use any type of barbecue, plancha, etc. for grilling. (*) store: refers to a shed equipped for shipping oysters (see Gascon-French Dictionary / Yolande Vidal 1999)
