Beautiful location, deep in the redwoods. Loved the peace and quiet of the unit (save for the early rising roosters!) The unit was clean and cozy, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Would definitely stay again.

Cute setup for our kids (ages 9-12), they loved the upper loft filled with toys! The place is very clean and comfortable. It’s secluded in the forest which was beautiful. The only thing was there is a rooster nearby that kept crowing loudly all early morning, so if you like to sleep in, I suggest bringing earplugs :) other than that, it’s a cute and quaint place to stay!

Spring Break Getaway

Beautiful location and property! Just know you are 10-15 minutes from anything really (stores, restaurants, beach). Apartment was clean and well stocked. Owner was responsive and shared farm fresh eggs. We loved the EV charging availability.

Good place to stay

No frills, but the place was clean, had all the amenities, great location in the redwood forest near Point Arena and the host, Carrie, was very helpful and responded quickly to my questions and needs. Would go again, and the cost was very reasonable. P.S., I loved the high swing, calm and gorgeous.

Little Sanctuary in the Trees

This is a super cute little place! The redwoods are all around and a beautiful wonder to behold. The unit had everything we needed...a full kitchen and two full bathrooms. The laundry room was an extra perk! Carri and Tim are wonderful hosts! Loved our stay!

Quiet forest retreat, great host

Staying at Stairway to Heaven was a wonderfully quiet and peaceful break from the noise and speed of our normal lives. Being on the second floor lets you look out at the tree tops and gaze at the stars at night. Our hosts were also helpful, communicative ,and kind humans. We would definitely recommend this to others!

Attention to detail

Thanks Carri and Tim,Your place was set up so perfectly that it is obvious that you spent a great deal of time getting this fine tuned for your guests.Here’s what we loved: super clean living space, high quality Appliances and furnishings, heat unit was toasty, very comfortable bed and soft bedding (I’m ordering myself some Egyptian cotton sheets so I can sleep like a dead pharaoh back home), BBQ was a nice Weber that cooked my steaks to even perfection, the fire pit is a nice feature- we loved sitting out under the redwoods and chatting last night. Super great experience for a drop in stay. Thanks for making the place so perfect. Jay, Jeannie, and Alex

Clean & Comfortable

Very nice space! Clean and comfortable. Relaxing location. Our teen boys enjoyed the loft (younger kids maybe 6 to 12 would probably be even bigger fans of the loft). Convenient location for a quick overnight on our HWY 1 road trip.

Not not near the town they say their end about 15 miles from the town no place to dine cell phone is limited and it was described as sleeps for, but the two beds were up in a loft that you couldn’t stand up in and only reached by a ladder not good for 70-year-olds I would not recommend this to anybody including the staircase, even getting up to the bedrooms.
