"First of all, it is not easy to find a place to stay in Kamloops with big family and pets, this is pretty much the only option in town can accomodate up to 6 people in one room and also pet friendly. the room is clean, fully tiled floor, no carpet, so perfect for pets. the amenities is very basic, we get two queen beds and one pull out sofa bed. When we arrived, the sofa bed does not have any bedding, nor the room have any extra bedding in the closet, we have to request for more. We booked this room with 5 people listed, when we arrive, the toilet only equiped with toiletries for one person, and no hair dryer, we have to request for more. The staff is very helpful, the requests are resolved almost immediately. the kitchen is equiped with all basic needs, full size range, all the pots and pans, apartment size fridge, but there is no dishwasher. Parking setup is a bit awkward, but generally managable. Surrounding area is loaded with all kinds of restaurants with in walking distance. Overall, this will be a good choice for next trip."

"When we first arrived we were greeted by one of the owners family members. She was very friendly and gave us information on the area and things to do. I love the small town hospitality! The cabin had all that we needed for a relaxing few days. The only issue we had were the beds. The queen was a very firm mattress and not the most comfortable to sleep on. The 2 doubles in loft were also not comfortable as one was too firm and the other you could feel the bars underneath. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. We road our bikes one of the days from the cabin to Stake Lake. That was a really nice trail around the lake. We did about 15 km but the trails were endless. I highly recommend you check it out. We had family staying the provincial campground so it was close enough to ride our bikes or load up the car and head to the beach. We enjoyed the beach every day even though it was a bit smoky but we had fun floating around. We used the indoor pool on our last night and enjoyed having a family water volleyball game . A perfect way to end our stay!"
