Weekend getaway
This was my third stay. I love the property and privacy. It is a peaceful and relaxing place to unwind. I’m sure it won’t be my last. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to bring family and friends in to share the experience.

Wonderful, Peaceful Location
We were here for a "girls weekend" and it was very nice. The views were just beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed for a nice relaxing time! One thing that was a little disappointing was the outdoor furniture. It could really use a good power washing. A dishwasher would have been nice too, but we got by ok. The road coming in was pretty rough, if it was raining I don't think we could have gotten out. Overall it was a very good place and one that we hope to rent again.

Beautiful Location, A Bit Dingy Accommodations
The location of the cabin was beautiful! Very secluded and private and the proximity to the river was awesome. Accessing the river is a little bit of a challenge. There are old stairs but they are not in great condition. You have to go down a steep hill to access. The deck overlooking the water was very nice but bring your own chairs. The photos online are not completely accurate. The seating is very poor! The cabin sleeps six but there is only seating for 3 in the living room which is unacceptable. In the evenings there was not enough places for people to sit and no one wants to sit at a dining room chair when you are relaxing. The comfort of the couch was terrible. The comfort of the beds was also not great. The cabin needs an overhaul. The house needs a good deep cleaning. As an owner of a vacation rental property myself I take a portion of the proceeds and reinvest back into our place. That has not been happening at this place.

Lovely Location for a Getaway
We had a wonderful time spending our Thanksgiving weekend at this cabin. The views are stunning and the proximity to the river is incredible. This is a wonderful place that truly feels like a getaway. The instructions for finding the place were very thorough, but I’m glad that I studied them ahead of time and brought a flashlight. That was part of the fun.

Great, quiet getaway on a river
We had a great, comfy late November visit with our two kids. Good space inside and lots of great space around the house outside to goof around. I suspect most people coming to this house will be happy to getaway from cell phones/constant contact anyway, but FWIW, the landline phone in the house was also non-functional (cordless device with battery that no longer charges) so no phone calls at all were possible. Still five stars... assuming phone will be replaced soon.
