Little America Hotel

8/10 Good

"Such a cute hotel! The staff was very polite, the lobby and exterior are ornate, and the room had a small balcony with a great view overlooking downtown and some of the nearby landscape. The room wasn't ready until almost an hour and a half after check in time, but once we got access to the room everything was clean and looked well maintained, including the very comfortable and plush bed. The bathroom looked to be newly remodeled, with lots of light fixtures and polished stainless steel, although the shower drained slowly. The property details as well as the hotels website indicated that there were laundry services available, but when we asked, they stated that they only had dry cleaning. Not a huge deal but something to keep in mind. Downstairs, there is a coffee shop with a small pastry selection instead of a breakfast area. We opted to go to a nearby diner instead for a full breakfast but there were a few patrons in the cafe seating area. Overall a good place to stay, albeit a little over priced for the amenities available."

"I would not recommend staying here more than a day or two. You have to consistently call the housekeeping line to request your room to be cleaned or want new towels. There's no microwave and the hotel controls your temperature. There is a thermostat in the room you can use but we had both of our rooms set at 55 and it was a till warm. I request to change rooms to see if it helped but that room was warm too. We ended up opening the windows to let cold air in. When I checked out the young lady refunded me 1 day for the 7 days I stayed but I have yet to see the credit. I will no longer book my stay here when I come to Reno."

"Security deposit not disclosed untill you check for the rooms 100 per room I had to so it was a total of 200 started the stay sour to begin with. Got home and see they only reimbursed me for ine of the rooms so now its I have to call to get the oher deposit reimbursed. Food was expensive and not all of it was the greatest. Other casinoes have way better food for cheaper then the trio at circus circus. I don't think we will stay there anymore after this stay just not worth it if your on a budget."
