host was kind and friendly. she called us when we needed to communicate and the place was neat and tidy. we enjoyed our stay, perfect cozy trip. the place was secluded but right next to any stores or restaurants we needed.

previous tenant wouldn't leave, so i had to rebook on the spot. since then, the host agreed that i should have a full refund, but she is now not contacting me regarding the refund. Is the amount taken immediately or after the stay?

It's a dump. Pee stains on old worn out mat at front door, next to hand-printed 'Take Your Shoes off Sign"! Broken shower head, holes in wall, smelled of urine and mold, filthy indoor rugs, dirty towels on filthy dirty bathroom floor, bloody used sheets left on bed, garbage piled outside, garbage left inside camp cooler, owner/operator rude when she arrived two hours after we left numerous messages, the four reviews on her site were all false. The place was a dump and we were not offered any compensation, apology or help by Jennifer, owner/operator or VRBO. I doubt this review will ever be read by future guests. Such a shame.

Jennifer was an amazing host! Even with a small miscommunication because of the website, she was able to accomodate us and make our stay an awesome one. The property is really idyllic and perfect for a gettaway. It's cozy, comfortable and the little porch outside to watch the stars at night is pretty dope. I highly, highly, recommend this cottage.

Perfect!

We couldn't ask for better. Our trip was due to a family medical emergency, and after nonstop chaos and stress, it was so nice to sit outside in the peace and quiet.
