「The photos online were a compilation of multiple units, not of just the one you're getting. So you don't quite know what the layout is that you're getting until arrival. It was a lovely place to stay with a stocked kitchen, coffee and tea with the necessary filters were provided for. The wood burning stove was a fun treat. 」

「People were nice, pool and hot tub were great. Location was super pretty. Not a world class stay with ultra fancy amenities, but for the money, it's like a 9 out of 10. 」

「Beautiful unobstructed view of the lake and so convenient to walk around Grand Marais. The family loved the hot chocolate and coffee bar in the lobby, and the deep-seated soaking tub in the bathroom. The staff was very nice and welcoming; we'd love to come back!」

「Short walk to a slope, depending on which end of the property you're at. Otherwise the on demand shuttle service takes you to the base area. 」

「We stay here every time that we visit Grand Marais. The rooms are always very clean and the staff is super friendly!」

「Very much appreciated the host’s quick response when we were lost and unable to find the cabin. It was cozy and we like small cabins, but a car boy of potable water and a sink with a bucket to collect wash water would have been helpful. Also, the path to the outhouse was submerged under a few inches of water - maybe some wood chips would be helpful? We constructed a bridge with rocks and wood blocks just to get to the outhouse.」
