Holiday home 'Grashäusl' with mountain views and private terrace

Overlooking the Alps, the detached holiday home "Grashäusl" in Grainau impresses guests with a fantastic view. The 60 m² accommodation consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and thus offers space for 4 people. It is also equipped with WLAN and a TV. A baby cot and high chair are available on request.

This vacation rental offers a private outdoor area with a garden, open terrace, and barbecue amenities.

The bus stop to Garmisch or to the Eibsee is only 100 metres from our house. The Deutsche Bahn train stop is also just 150 metres away. The accommodation enjoys an idyllic location just 5 minutes by car from Garmisch Partenkirchen and 10 minutes by car from Lake Eibsee. There are numerous hiking and cycling trails right on the doorstep. The various ski areas can be reached in just a few minutes by car. The Grashäusl is located in the immediate vicinity of the centre of Grainau, shopping facilities, restaurants, swimming pool and the Zugspitze cable car. The nearest supermarket is approx. 900 metres away.

Pros: Experiment deshalb, weil wir unsere Urlaube bisher immer am Meer verbracht haben und wie im Titel schon beschrieben: GELUNGEN! Aber so richtig! Im Januar 2020 haben wir beschlossen, mal etwas Neues zu probieren und uns mal die Gegend rund um Eibsee und Zugspitze anzusehen. Der Kontakt mit Marta rund um Buchungsanfrage und Buchungsbestätigung war total unkompliziert und sehr herzlich. Die 10 Tage im Grashäusl bei bestem Wetter (August, Sonne pur bei bis zu 32 Grad) einfach fantastisch und erholsam. Marta und Familie supernett und bemüht, immer ein offenes Ohr und Zeit für einen Plausch. Die Lage ist einfach top! Von dort kommt man super nach Obergrainau, Schmölz, Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Der Bus fährt in unmittlebarer Nähe ab, dieser kann kostenlos mit der Gästekarte genutzt werden. Wir sind oft mit dem Bus gefahren, die Zeiten haben gut gepasst und man spart sich Benzin- u. Parkkosten. Das Grashäusl liegt schön, Parkplatz am Haus, im Grünen und von der Terrasse hat man einen fantastischen Ausblick auf die Alpspitze. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Betten waren bezogen und Handtücher sowie Geschirrtücher + Lappen für die Küche lagen bereit. Es war sauber, bis auf ein paar Spinnweben und hier und da etwas Staub, aber das ist für mich kein Schmutz! Im kl. Schlafzimmer steht nur eine kleine Kommode, dafür an der Wand ausreichend Haken. Im großen Schlafzimmer fehlt ein Schrank, der dort stehende halbhohe Wäscheschrank hat uns mit Kleidung für 10 Tage etwas an unsere Grenzen gebracht. Platz wäre dort für einen 3-türigen Schrank. Die Matratzen waren gut, sauber und für mich etwas zu hart; nach 3 Nächten hatte ich mich aber daran gewöhnt. Alles in allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen, die Kinder fragen jetzt schon, wann wir wieder dorthin fahren :-) Wir kommen wieder!
