Lovely two night stay - wish it had been longer.
Positives were location on edge of forest, generous sized room, peaceful, beautiful looking cottage-style hotel, good food.
Conversely, people could view the location negatively as it is a fair way from the main roads and any major area of civilization so to my mind you would need your own transport.
Likewise, with its own trout farm the fish on the menu is definitely fresh, but across the whole menu if you don't like fish, or are generally a fussy eater, the menu is somewhat limited and you will probably want to eat off site. Wide choice for breakfast.
We want to go back, but can see ourselves eating out most nights, and surprisingly the hotel will (selectively?) allow dogs in rooms at a cost.
