"Loved our stay here. We had a very friendly warm welcome, great room, restaurant dinner & breakfast great, so convenient to have tram stop outside hotel for easy quick access into the city to explore. Pool was lovely and hotel has a great vibe. Will definitely return. "

"Disappointed that on arrival had to pay again for the room even though i confirmed i had a receipt for payment in advance. Also the reception was unmanned midday and could not gain access. Lucky it was not raining!

"They have pictures of nice and clean beautiful rooms in the website but this is not true. The room smelled and it had little bugs in the bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom has mold and it was very warm. The towels had stains. I would not recommend this unless your on a very low budget. "

"After difficulty finding and getting to the barge. (I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful. Loved the decor in the Art Deco room of the Barge. The hosts provide everything needed, even putting milk, butter and orange juice in the fridge on arrival which was a nice touch. "We were here to rest and recharge after spending the day wine tasting. This chateau is quiet and peaceful. Staff is friendly and speaks our language which is not common in many parts of France. We would highly recommend this hotel to others."
"What a beautiful hotel, such a complete surprise to see the gorgeous interior decoration. The restaurant is worth a visit just to sit back and look at all the quirky fixtures, the wallpaper on the columns is fantastic, the food served was just as good. "I really love this hotel. It is part of the Contact chain of hotels. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The public tram is only a few minutes from the hotel. Parking is easy and free.
There is no laundry facility in this room, though Expedia lists it as one of the amenities. There is a laundromat in the shopping mall close by.

"This nice and modern aparthotel is well maintained and its location is very convenient as there is a tram station just half a block away. You can be in Bordeaux’s historic center in less than 20 minutes and if you’re traveling to the next destination by train, the train station (Saint-Jeanne) is just half an hour away at just 3.3 Euros per person. I highly recommend this hotel. I would book again. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so I can’t comment about that. The staff is friendly and they explain well to you what you can do in town. "
