"Wonderful hostel in a great and walkable location! The on-site laundry and 2 kitchens were a huge plus. The decor was adorable and quirky. Only drawback was the nearby construction made parking a bit confusing, but the staff was incredibly helpful. There is also a bar and common area for travelers to hang out in!"

"This is our 2nd time staying in this hotel. This time we stayed in another home location in Reykjavik. Any location you stay at is very central. You are right in the city center. Parking we quick and easy. The room was spacious, and clean. Check in was very quick and easy."

"Really loved Hotel Grimsborgir! We stayed for 4 nights. The location is excellent - about an hour from Reykjavik and really easy to drive to. Lots of parking. Updated decoration throughout and very spacious rooms. Access to the hot tubs was great. The breakfast was varied and very tasty. We ate in the restaurant once and were very satisfied with the meal and with the service. Staff were very polite and knowledgeable. And they called to let us know the Northern Lights were visible!"

"The location was great, right in the middle of the promenade. Parking was tricky but if you can remember to park in the P2 zone where it’s cheaper by the hour and free overnight. We found a spot two streets over. The room was great and exactly how it was described."
