"My stay was overall a wonderful experience and a highlight of my trip. The room was spacious, warm, and comfortable, especially after long days exploring Iceland’s beautiful landscapes. I loved having a private balcony, and the outdoor hot tubs were perfect. nice and steamy after being out in the cold all day. The bed was incredibly soft, and the room temperature was always comfortable. The water temperature was excellent as well, making showers and relaxing in the hot tubs even more enjoyable. One of the most memorable parts of my stay was seeing the Northern Lights from the property. I stayed up all night to try to see them. The restaurant was also excellent. There were a few downsides. The shower curtain in the bathroom had an unpleasant odor that was noticeable throughout the stay. Additionally, the water service was unavailable from approximately 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on one day, which was inconvenient. I was also disappointed by the handling of the Northern Lights wake-up call service. At check-in, a receptionist told me I had been added to the wake-up call list. During my stay, I checked with three different receptionists to confirm and was told each time that I was not on the list but that they would add me. Upon checkout, a fourth staff member informed me that I had never been added at all. As a result, I never received the wake-up call, which was frustrating.. why I was never added? I have no idea. I hope the next person has better luck."

"This hotel was decent enough and did everything I needed - clean, quiet and a basic breakfast included. While it worked fine with the access codes etc, the absence of any staff at all on site was slightly odd and made the whole experience feel a little impersonal. I value having someone to speak to in person if I have questions or need anything."
