Loved our stay, the apartment was new and modern and had everything our family needed for a comfortable stay. Amenities were great, including two pools, gym, sauna and beach front position can't be beaten.

This is our second stay at Jewel Residences and love it here! The views are always spectacular, it is one of the few true beachfront hotel/residence. Always clean and rooms are well appointed and kitchen beautiful and balcony great. So nice to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves! We will be back

Jewel was an incredible place to stay with our young family. The pools and apartment were luxurious. We had an amazing time. I would highly recommend this as a relaxing escape destination.

Great holiday stay

Great location and amenities, the room was comfortable, spacious, well designed with good finishes and an amazing ocean view. Only issue was the shower hot water would jump from hot to cool, possibly due to faulty mixer.

Room we stayed in was amazing. The view of the beach was fabulous ! Proximity to the beach was so convenient. Only downfall would be the wind tunnel once you walk between buildings.

The apartment was beautiful, view of the river was lovely. Loved having a washing machine and dryer. The only negatives were the second bedroom was really tight and the couch was uncomfortable (excessive amount of throw pillows also). Overall a really enjoyable stay - would stay again in the future!

Stunning views and lovely apartment. The hot water is very in and out so the shower wasn’t great. The pillows are small and hard and just one chair on the deck feels a little underdone.

Great apartments and very close to the water and walkways. The pool areas on ground and level 3 and ground are very nice and well maintained. The management company office was a bit tricky to find, but we found it. Otherwise pretty seamless. Hinderland 2 bedroom apartment had a great view of the river. Shops are about 2km away up the walkway, but its a nice work and bikes are available.

The Jewel is stunning, we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment & it was very clean & comfortable. The only disappointment was our pool was closed due to maintenance & we weren’t advised. We of course could use the Langham outdoor pool/spa however being located in a wind tunnel made it uncomfortable. It seemed they were very short staffed at the pool bar, hardly anyone available to serve drinks. Ordered food from the pool menu, took over 45 minutes & when we got the food it was cold. Although the hotel & apartments are gorgeous & certainly look 5 star the service did not match up to 5 star standards.

Overall the location is walking or tram distance to a lot of areas. With a pool and beach. However the 2 bedrooms are sold in the building as 1 bedrooms and an office. It’s not actually 2 bedrooms. Due to the design of the three towers a huge wind tunnel is created at the pool area with any slight breeze which makes it almost unusable. The accommodation is presented in a luxury photographic staged style but is not made for any sort of living. It states it can take 4 people (in a 1.5 bedroom style) but they only provide 4 plates, bowls, cup and even towels - if you have children, this is not easy to constantly be washing and cleaning There were also a number of defects with blinds, mirrors, furniture etc

The 3 bedroom sub penthouse was immaculately presented! It was perfect for my large family with lots of space and options for family members to do their own thing within the apartment. With so many balcony options- it was hard to leave. Our family were extremely comfortable with with multiple bathrooms and entertainments ammenities. Definitely would return again- only minor questionable comfort would be the modular couch as it was hard to get comfortable due to its lack of depth but the cushions made up for it. Such a beautiful and well thought out layout!

Beautiful property shame about the room facilities

The facilities at the hotel were excellent as was the view and the location. We were really impressed with these parts of the stay however the room facilities not match the hotel standard. The toilet had a major leak which covered a third of the bathroom floor with water but was rectified the following day after a plumber was called to fix it. The bathroom tap was also dripping constantly but when this was raised we found out they knew about it, perhaps a heads up would have been nice. The other issues we encountered were that the hot/cold water controls in the shower were next to impossible to get to a suitable temperature. It took about 2-3 minutes for the water to begin to get hot and then it quickly escalated to near boiling point quickly after. Unfortunately we were unable to find a happy medium between hot and cold so it was a matter of toggling between the two for the duration of a shower. Not something you want to do no matter the standard of accommodation. On Saturday afternoon my wife wanted to take a bath, again not able to find a happy balance between too hot and too cold but the main problem was that the plug in the bath could not make a tight seal. We could only get about 6-8cm of water in before it leaked out. As it was a push in, push out plug she had no option but to forego the bath. The only other criticism was that with such a fantastic view there was only 1 lounge chair on the balcony. Shame the room did not meet The Langham standard.
