The old abbey (now the Highland Club) is a beautiful old building. It is about a 3 minute walk from the apartment to the heart of Fort Augustus with its restaurants and shops. 「This property is magical! There's not a better word for it! The property itself is located right on Loch Lochy, which is a quick drive to Fort William, Spean Bridge, the Ben Nevis gondola ride area. The views from the property are spectacular!! I could have sat in the living room (it was cold outside) and looked at the loch and mountain right across for days! Everytime you looked at the mountain, there were different colors to see .. it was ever changing! From the snow at the top to the rainbow...

「I really enjoyed staying here. I'm a very light sleeper and LOVED the quiet. The surroundings are peaceful, bed is comfy, living area is huge, parking is easy. Having a kitchenette is a big help. Laundry was a bit expensive but great to have access to. There's not a ton to eat or do within walking distance but enough to get by for a couple days, and it's great to be near Fort William without being in the middle of it. The bedroom was a bit of a tight squeeze (couldn't open door fully) but this...
