We liked our spacious, very clean room. Friendly, approachable staff, location to town and no highway noise. This was our second 3 day stay at Amber and we will book again.

Convenient location, room was clean, a little smaller than it looked in the photos, but it still had all the facilities. The bathroom needs renovation, there was old damage to the walls, but the shower tiles were clean as was the grout.

Better than expected.

A very good stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet. The bed was very good. Slightly less stiff than we like but Okay. The water kettle went bad as we were using it and got a prompt new replacement.

1. Book directly with the motel if you want to use your stay NSW voucher. 2. No electric blankets even though advertising said these were available in all rooms. 3. Budget double room is tiny. 4. Bathroom original early 1970s. 5. The great reviews for the owner from previous posts are no longer relevant because it has changed hands. 6. Motel is very close to town centre. 7. Room was very clean. 8. Room had microwave, toaster, electric jug, TV, fridge, crockery and cutlery. 9.Bed not very comfortable. 10. We would not stay there again.

This motel has really made an effort do everything right. Reception was friendly, helpful and efficient. The room, although small, had everything I could need - beautiful renovated bathroom, very comfortable bed, table and chairs, lounge chairs, a fridge with a separate large freezer (appreciated when you travel with an esky), cutlery and crockery, toaster, microwave etc. And a very large TV. All made for a restful night. Thank you.

Perfect for our overnight stay. Newly renovated rooms which were neat and clean. Only critique was the shower screen being too narrow which lead to a very wet bathroom floor. Perfect walking distance to the Main Street which was handy for dinner and breakfast.
