Laurel Inn 103 has a spacious 2-person Jacuzzi

Laurel Inn Condos is located just 4 blocks from the main street of Gatlinburg. The property has a heated outdoor seasonal pool for your enjoyment. There is also free wireless internet. You have two ways to get back to the downtown area. If you take the sidewalk down Cherokee Orchard Road, then you will come out at Traffic light #6 near the Mountain Mall and Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. There is also a wooden stairwell that is off the back of our complex that will connect you to Reagan Drive which will bring you out near Ripley's Believe or Not Museum. This unit is a one bedroom with a King bed in the bedroom and a two person jacuzzi. It also has a queen size sofa bed in the living room. The kitchenette consists of a full size refrigerator, microwave, Coffee Maker, and a 2 burner range stove.

Great location!!

Location was excellent. Walked into NP on our first day for a short hike. Bonus that a car was not necessary to get downtown as it was easy walk. The unit had great potential. In need of a deep cleaning, new linens and towels.

Our stay at Laurel Inn

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Room was very clean. The location to the downtown area was very convenient. What we did not like was the fact that we were not give a code to the back entry of the hotel, which is what we were told to use to get to the downtown area. We were locked out and were not able to access the front of the building after 10 pm in the dark! And during the entire stay there was NEVER a person in the front lobby/ office!! Hopefully no one needs anything during their stay there!! Can’t comment on customer service, as there was none!!

We ended up finding this place on Google and booked it. The room was perfect for us. It was clean and tidy. The giant jacuzzi tub was a nice relief from all of the day's activities. Would definitely book again the next time we travel to Gatlinburg.

VERY disappointing

The condo has not been updated since the building was completed. There is the original jaccuzi tub in the bedroom, which is great for storing all the excess pillows. The microwave has a timer dial, which was the original design when microwaves 1st came out. The glass ware was not clean, you have to use the cart on wheels for chopping as well as to put the toaster oven or coffee maker on so you can get them close to a plug. The blinds in the bedroom had broken slats, the blinds in the "living room" had broken slats. Cookware consists of a couple of small pans, no pots. The bed was comfortable. There is no balcony for this unit. It is walkable to town, just remember that it is uphill all the way back

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Though this little condo is right in the heart of Gatlinburg we feel it was mediocre at best. We arrived around 3:30pm, we were greeted by a nice(enough)lady at the front desk and she asked us if we were aware that our unit had been changed. NO we were NOT aware it had changed, we were NOT notified of any changes till arrival. She told us that in the unit we reserved(on the 5th floor, with a view of Gatlinburg) the A/C had stopped working and they had to change us to a different unit. The new unit was #103, the ground floor right? WRONG, we were in the basement, BELOW ground level with NO view!! I voiced my displeasure at not being notified and requested a comparable unit to the one we reserved. She told me that everything else was full. I asked if there was anything she could do and she said "No". No discount or partial refund of our cost was offered or given. Then there was the replacement unit. The first thing we noticed was that the unit was NOT very clean, the toaster oven still had food still in it, there were bugs everywhere and the jacuzzi was dirty. The towels were tiny and a dingy off white color. For the amount of money we paid to stay here we are VERY disappointed. But when you are already there what choice do you have? We were able to walk to several local attractions on "the strip" and could see Anakeesta from the parking lot but I would NOT recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice vacation in Gatlinburg, nor would I be willing to stay here again. This was our first time using VRBO and a HUGE step down from what we are used to with AirBnb!! BEWARE!!!!
