Comfortable, classy condo with view of Mt. LeConte.

  • Cedar beams on high ceilings. Stone fireplace 18’ high (with realistic faux fire). Clear view of Mt. Le Conte from the balcony and living room. Free WiFi. Situated next to an outdoor pool for summer fun (access to 2 additional pools included). Less than a mile from the ski resort for winter and summer adventures. Penthouse view. Recently remodeled. Fully furnished. One king bedroom with attached bath. One queen bedroom and bath (pocket door closes to create a private suite.) Original art and tasteful decor. Free convenient parking. Located on 3rd floor -- accessible by stairs. Close to Gatlinburg for access to countless entertainment attractions.

    At around 2,000 ft higher elevation than the Gatlinburg strip, it's always a bit cooler up at High Alpine Condominiums. If you aren't familiar with the Chalet Village area of Gatlinburg, come experience a real mountain getaway with great views (note the roads can be steep and narrow at times). Overall, we had a great stay! The views from the balcony were amazing and we even spotted a bear right from the balcony along with many others around the property. My only suggestion for improvement is cleanliness, we found some worms in the bedroom during our stay.

My husband and I visited Gatlinburg from Indiana to celebrate our anniversary. We had stayed in this condo in May 2024, so we knew that it would be comfortable and clean. There is an electric grill on the balcony that we used to grill some steaks for our anniversary dinner. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening with a glass of wine. It's an easy drive to Asheville, if you care to tour the Biltmore House and grounds. A bear happened to visit the cabin behind the condo building and we were able to see it from the balcony. I appreciated that the light switches were labeled, so we didn't have to guess what they were for. We would definitely stay here again!

This being only our second time to be in Gatlinburg, we were not sure what to expect. The condo was perfect for what we needed. The view was great and we had a chance to see a beautiful big black bear down below our balcony which was exciting to see. Our visit to Gatlinburg could not have been any better.

This place was so nice and the price was extremely reasonable. Everything was great. It would have been good to know the amount of steps involved to get to the unit. The only other issue I had was the drive to the location. I am pretty use to the area and the mountain drive but honestly I was very nervous And a bit freighted to make the drive. After a couple days we did find the best route to it. Overall excellent place to stay. Very cozy. The furniture was good and the deck overlooking to Mountain View was spectacular. It was so spacious. Thumbs up!

Home away from home. Very comfortable and clean and had all of the necessities. Beautiful view of the mountain. Quiet surroundings. Convenient to Gatlinburg and the National Park. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to family and friends. You may even see a bear or two as your ride up the mountain to the chalet (we saw 4)!

The location of the condo is quite high up in the mountains and the streets are narrow, with sharp curves, and no guard rails. I think driving up to the condo at night might be teicky

We stayed with our daughter and granddaughter while we were in the area to visit Dollywood. Perfect accommodations, beautifil view ansd a wonderful respite from the busy towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We would definitely recommend this property to all looking for a view from the top and the quiet to enjoy it.
