Talking Waters: a Real Creek, Theater, Convenient

Creekside cabins are hard to come by - if this cabin is available we suggest you book it quickly as the calendar will fill up far in advance. Escape to the mountains and enjoy relaxing on your covered deck with sights and sounds of the Webb Creek. Enjoy a fire outdoors in your fire pit, or gather indoors in your theater room with 9 foot theater screen, play a game of pool on the pool table or fire up one of the arcade games! (Multicade, Crusin USA). Many upgrades in this cabin including granite counter tops, woodburning fireplace in great room, fireplaces in each bedroom and smoker on the deck.

Free WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents.

Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. About 20 mins from Gatlinburg and a little longer from pigeon forge but the drive isn’t bad at all.

Bathrooms had LOTS of ants both times we've stayed in the cabin. Was able to remedy it with spray, but shouldn't have to worry about poison when a toddler is present. Overall it's a lovely cabin and will probably stay again.

We loved being right by the creek because we could leave the sliding glass door open and could hear the water inside and that was very relaxing. The beds on the other hand were very hard and not comfortable at all.

Overall, I would consider coming back.

Reviewer Comments: We loved the cabin, the two king suites were great, the beds were a little hard they could use a nice mattress topper or a comfy mattress pad on top. Other than that sitting in the hot tub, listening to the creek was wonderful. We enjoyed the projector tv watching football and baseball and playing pool.It was about a 20 min drive to the strip in Gatlinburg but we were glad to not be in the chaos of downtown.The office texted several times to see if we needed anything, I felt if I needed anything they were available but we were all good.

Both bedrooms have king beds and both of them open up to deck with the hot tub and views of the creek. Kitchen had the pots and pans for us to cook and enjoy a movie night on the home theater on a snowy day we experienced. Customer service was great when you called they answered and resolved issue very quick. Please keep in mind you will be 30 minutes from the activities in Gatlinburg and 40 from pigeon Forge. My only complaint would be the cleanest of the place the showers had a mildew smell and the furniture could use an update. We brought our own cleaning supplies and had to clean the showers before using and bedding had a hair when unfolding blankets.

Truly paradise

Reviewer Comments: We rented this cabin at the last minute because the cabin we rented with another company was sold and we were canceled 1 week prior to our vacation. We were in a panic and found this cabin. When we arrived at the cabin, we knew instantly that we had hit the jackpot! This cabin is truly a paradise! It is absolutely gorgeous and immaculately clean, and has every amenity you could want. We enjoyed the theater nightly and the hot tub was the cleanest one we've ever been in. Loved the firepit too. But the best part was always being able to hear the creek flowing past the cabin. We never wanted to leave and we miss it so much. It is a perfect cabin for 2 couples also and we plan on returning with family. Management checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed and answered all our questions. We will definitely stay here again and cannot wait to return!

Comfy and Clean About 25 Minutes from Downtown Gatlinburg

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The check-in process was very easy. We loved the single level of the place. Kitchen supplies were great. (The only thing we would bring next time would be a pair of silicon tongs and a larger skillet.) The place was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The mattresses are pretty firm, but we are used to a very firm mattress. The hot tub was a comfortable temperature, but the jets weren't very strong. Things we loved: the sound of the creek flowing behind the cabin, the large stone showers, the theater room.Things we weren't thrilled with: the smoker didn't work even though maintainance DID try to fix it, difficulty seeing as we backed out of the driveway, no access to the creek (long drop off), distance from town.Overall, it was a very nice place and even with the cons, we would stay again. The pros FAR outweighed the cons. And the staff at Elk Springs were fabulous. They checked in with us to make sure we were pleased with the cabin and even offered us a small discount to stay an extra night (however, we declined).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying at Talking Waters! This was our first time staying at a cabin and it is a beautiful cabin with everything we needed. A couple of things to note that aren’t in the description: The bedrooms are right next to each other and there is not a clear path to walk down to the water (it’s pretty steep).Pros:Everything was as described. The rooms are practically identical so no fighting over who gets the “better” room. The pictures do not do it justice. It’s very large and roomy. It was easy to find and the grocery store and Gatlinburg are not too far away.The pool table was amazing and the game systems were a nice thing to have as well.The kitchen had basic appliances and cookware. Enough to get by on vacation.The beds were comfy and there are plenty of blankets and pillows.The showers are amazing! You will not regret staying here for the showers alone!Cons (not really – just stuff to be aware of):The towels are cheap hotel quality – small and scratchy, I would bring some.The seats in the game room are super close to the screen and like a movie theater. Not super comfortable. The theater screen didn’t seem to be hooked up to the internet so you couldn’t access a streaming service to watch a movie. They are really firm about messing with that system so we didn’t try to figure out beyond the instructions.There wasn’t access to any cleaning supplies so you’ll need to bring them or make do with paper towels and water. There was a sticky spot in the game room that attracted tiny ants. It wasn’t a big deal but without a mop, I was down on my hands and knees and I’m old 😂

Just a getaway

Theater room was fun. Advise to sit at bar to watch because if you sit in seats its like sitting in the front row at an actual movie theater. Too close but still fun. Little far from most activities. Be prepared to drive alot.

The cabin was well appointed and very comfortable. There wasn't any propane in the tank to grill, just had to make a phone call and someone came out the next day. The only thing I did not like was we ran out of toilet paper and had to go buy some. The website did say that we got a starter pack but when on vacation, I really don't want to have to worry about going and buying toilet paper. Other than that, the place was fantastic and we will be back again!

Lovely Little Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a very nice little cabin conveniently located reasonably close to multiple activities. It was easy to access and nice not to have a long drive up the thin, winding mountain roads. The cabin was clean and well-maintained. The showers were wonderful, the beds were comfortable, and the game room/movie theater was a big hit with the kids (as was the hot tub). The creek was beautiful, however if you are wanting to actually go down to the creek it isn’t particularly easy to access. My only complaint is that there weren’t many towels or extra blankets available (there is a washer and dryer) and there were limited kitchen utensils and plates. Overall it was a cozy, clean cabin with a great view of the creek. Elk Springs provided excellent customer services and made sure to call and text to check in. The check-in and check-out processes were very easy. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay here again.

Smokey Mountains Vacation

Sadly the sliding glass door blinds all need to be replaced and did not work or were falling down. The screen on the fireplace should also be replaced. I would be concerned about using it. Aeand the hot tub ran loud and constantly. We were told to shut it off at the breaker Finally, the rental company did not reach out to advise that someone would be coming to fix a video game. We were surprised when he showed up knocking in the evening and then he said he could have just used the code to get in if we did not hear him. He got that we were a little nervous. This could have turned out badly if someone just lets themself in and we were in the hot tub or shower, etc. This should never happen. We have used many rental properties and are always advised if someone will be coming in.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My stay was awesome. The home was absolutely immaculate. The sound of the water was so relaxing . We had about 2 bear sightings, which was awesome for us. This is a must stay property. It is centrally located (about 20 minutes from main attractions). Close enough to visit but far enough not to be bothered by it.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was just cabin to sleep in our opinion. Hot tub was not working the best. Jets are very weak. When it rained there was a huge leak in the house. Ants in the bathrooms and game room. Old reviews talked about pull out couch saw on pictures. Got there, different couch. Pictures are old on site. Blinds falling off or missing all together. Creek was nice and living was good. Besides that next time we will pick another cabin. I will say the customer service line was great and helpful.
