「The room was well-furnished in a mid-century modern style, which suited the age it was built. Unfortunately, we did not have an ocean view (because we didn't want to pay the extra 100 dollars!) so it was difficult, at first to get any sort of breeze in the room without exposing ourselves to everyone who walked by.
