Highly recommend
We fell in love with the Barn as soon as we got there. The hosts are so thoughtful and sweet. We absolutely adored seeing elk, pronghorn, squirrels and chipmunks every day from the balcony!

Highlight of our trip
The Barn on the Banks is better then what you see in the pics. Great location with amazing views of the park, elk right at your doorstep, and the Linda and Ken are amazing hosts. Literally 5 minutes to the North Entrance which allowed us to come and go to experience even more of the park. We loved everything about the place and will definitely be back.

LOVED IT !!
The property was very well-kept, wonderful and homey accommodations, location great for Yellowstone entrance! We saw elk in the backyard. The owners were SO nice and helpful and right next door! Lots of items for picnicking available in the unit! Definitely would rent again if we can!!

Great stay at Barn on the Banks!
My husband, two kids and my parents stayed for 5 nights at the cabin. Check in was communicated through email but Linda also followed up via text to make sure I received which was very appreciated. Cabin was beautifully decorated and had all the accommodations needed including spices for cooking, and griddle for breakfast. They had a propane grill which was so nice, vs most places it’s charcoal and you have to bring your own. Linda and her husband live right next door so if we were outside they checked to make sure we were all set and didn’t need anything and wished us well when we departed. Cabin was easy to get to and close to the town and north Yellowstone entrance. Oh and it has A/C units which most other places do not. Hard to see in the pictures but the walk down to the river is steeper than expected and you can’t see the cabin once down there. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking.

Relaxing home with great views!
We really enjoyed our stay at the barn! The house was well equipped with everything we wanted or needed for our stay. Comfy beds, very clean, great views, well stocked kitchen for cooking, etc. The hosts were very friendly & checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable. Our family of 5 loved the area & close access to YNP. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Accommodations!!!
Barn on the Banks was clean and very inviting. It had everything we needed plus more. It was very comfortable and had spices for cooking that I didn’t even think about packing. My son and husband went fishing on the river below the barn and had fun. Beautiful views from every window. Ken and Linda were very sweet and responded to a text message quickly. When we return to Yellowstone we will see if the Barn on the Banks is available.

Amazing place, perfect location, unbeatable views
Excellent visit to Yellowstone at a great location. There is nothing like the Barn on the Banks anywhere near Yellowstone. Linda had everything we needed - even things we didn’t know were there until we arrived (crock pot, fishing poles, coffee grinder, you name it). The little things made it very welcoming, especially the farm artwork below the deck (the kids loved the pictures). We had Elk come to visit nightly, gorgeous views, and a nice quiet neighborhood. Despite having homes on each side, it has a much more secluded feel. We will definitely be coming back when the opportunity arises.

Excellent place to stay when visiting Yellowstone
My family and I stayed here in mid-late May 2023 while visiting Yellowstone. The location is excellent and very close to the park. Upon arrival we were visited by some elk wondering on the property. The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming. The place has everything you need, we grilled one night and explored the local restaurants the others. The cabin was very clean and comfortable for the family. The kids walked down to the river to fish and my wife and I enjoyed sitting on the swing overlooking the river and park. My wife said the cabin was the best part of the trip.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as listed. The views were amazing. Linda and Ken were very friendly and welcoming! Loved seeing the wildlife every morning and evening when coming and going to Yellowstone.

Excellent Place, Wonderful Vacation.
This is the place to stay if you are going to Yellowstone. Grocery store and good coffee minutes away. A 2 minute drive to the park entrance. Plenty of space, plenty of wildlife (in the neighborhood & back yard), view, river...everything. We had 2 adults, 2 20 something and a teen. No complaints, everyone happy, plenty of space to unwind after a full day in the park. Ken & Linda were great. If we come back to Yellowstone, we will rent here again, 100%.

Best of the Best!
If you're an active family ready to explore Gardiner, Yellowstone and the surrounding areas, this is your home base! I can't say enough good things about the hosts. While you're there, make time to visit with them. They've really thought of everything for this barn stay and have their hearts invested here! Don't look anywhere else. Just book this one and get on with your memory making!

Best Yellowstone Stay Ever!
This was our 3rd visit to Yellowstone & was the best visit ever because of Ken & Linda’s hospitality at “The Barn on the Banks”. They are wonderful people & hosts at the barn. They are very informative about the area & we actually experienced things in the surrounding area we had not experienced on previous trips. They truly care about your comfort & safety during your stay with them. The accommodations are wonderful. It is very clean & they have everything you need for a stay away from home. The location is close to the entrance to the park, walking distance to downtown Gardiner & yet it’s very peaceful & secluded from the traffic of the downtown area. Much of the wildlife call this area their home. There were mule deer, elk, pronghorn & big horn sheep all within eyesight of the barn. Ken & Linda are so friendly we cannot wait to return to visit them again & stay at The Barn again.

Ken and Linda were excellent hosts!
Our family of six had an amazing time at barn on the banks. With a view overlooking Yellowstone park, it was not only magnificent, but It was easy to judge when a good time to head over was, and avoid the long lines at certain times of the day. Our stay was made seamless with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable living space, and all the bathroom essentials needed and both bathrooms. The rooms were quite comfortable as well. Ken and Linda were great with helpful suggestions about town, as well as little known gems to discover. Absolutely wonderful people to get to know. We enjoyed daily trips to Yellowstone, white water rafting, ATV trips, horseback riding, and tons more. We have several more vacations planned, but look to return soon. We have already told all of our friends and family about our great stay at barn on the banks, and I believe a few were looking to stay within the next year or so!

Wonderful family vacation!
We loved staying at the barn! It was very conveniently located to Yellowstone. We were able to see so much wildlife right outside our window every day. My son loved fishing just below the house. I highly recommend staying at this lovely home.

Comfortable stay
Clean cozy stay. This comfortable cozy place has every thing you could possibly need. I needed to see a button and found a little sewing kit in the laundry area. I loved that!! There are a few stairs to climb, it’s located on the second floor. We were a little disappointed that to reach the river it’s was quite a hike downhill. All in all we enjoyed the barn, owners were there to help us with anything we needed. Very accommodating.

This property really helped maximize our time in the park. It is a couple minutes drive to the North gate. It has everything you need for your stay and provides great wildlife watching from the deck. I highly recommend this property for a trip to Yellowstone!

Just Wonderful!
We totally enjoyed our stay at “Barn in the Banks”. Perfect location for easy access into the northern entrance of Yellowstone. House was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We felt very at home there. Back deck and yard area are awesome for wildlife viewing and we enjoyed watching every afternoon to see what we would see next. We got to see a grizzly bear on the hillside across the river from the back deck! The owners were available if we needed anything (which we didn’t), but it was nice to know they were responsive if need be. We would highly recommend this place and hope that if we are ever lucky enough to come back to Yellowstone, we can stay here again!

The Barn on the Banks was perfect!
This property was excellent for our trip to Yellowstone Natl Park. Ken and Linda were excellent hosts and they have made this property fully functional thinking of everything. The kitchen had all that we needed and the views off the deck were breathtaking. We were so lucky to find this place and would highly recommend it. Located just a stones throw outside of Yellowstone’s north entrance, this is the best place to stay for anyone going in and out of the park. Look no further...you have found that perfect place! I couldn't believe the perfect location of The Barn on the Banks. Just outside of Yellowstone and right on the river looking out to Yellowstone. Plenty of wildlife to be seen from the Barn, make sure to bring binoculars! The space was very clean with more than enough room for us and had everything we needed. The hosts were also very helpful and accommodating. We can't wait to return!

Perfect location outside north entrance to Yellowstone
Linda & Ken were the perfect hosts. The property is located very close to the north entrance of Yellowstone, has stunning views of the countryside and wildlife and is the perfect place to return to after long days sightseeing in the park. The local elk that visit the property make this property very special. We viewed bighorn rams, elk, antelope, and mule deer from the deck overlooking the river bank. The home has all the amenities you’ll need for your stay in Gardiner. My family and I would happily return to this property.

What a place!
We absolutely loved staying at the Barn! The views, accommodation, friendly neighbors that brought us apples and checked in (aka, Linda and Ken), trail down to the river for fishing and fun, wildlife visits. My partner has always camped every year for his Yellowstone trip, but we may have convinced him to stay again after the incredible time we had. Thank you to Linda and Ken for making this treasure of a place for others to enjoy. You truly made our trip special.

Loved Living in the Barn!
We have absolutely no regrets about staying here and highly recommend it - you won’t be disappointed. It has charm and lots of comforts. This was our 3rd trip to Yellowstone. The first time we stayed at the Old Faithful Lodge. The second visit was in a 30’ RV. This time we drove our minivan. Our kids appreciated the toys and cabinet full of games and movies for time after dinner before bed. Linda and Ken are interesting people (we wish we had more time to chat and visit) and we cannot wait to return to Yellowstone and the Barn. Go for it! Make a booking!

What a view!
What a great place with a fantastic view of Yellowstone. Comfortable house on the Yellowstone River with good fishing and loads of wildlife. We saw elk and mule deer either on the property or on the street, we even had a cow elk and fawn hanging out by the deck. As far as access to the river, it is way down there but there is a good path to take. All in all, I’d definitely recommend this place sunrise views and sunset views from the deck

Amazing!!!
First, let me say that Ken and Linda were wonderful hosts. They were very responsive from the time of booking through the end of our stay. Their Barn on the Banks is an incredible home base in such a friendly welcoming town. The close proximity to YNP, outdoor adventures, hiking and dining is perfect. The Barn has everything you need to make your stay extremely comfortable: comfy beds and linens, cozy towels, a/c and fireplaces, if needed, fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms and laundry area, comfy living room furniture, etc... The views are amazing and there is wildlife all around. I cannot say enough about this property. We didn’t have a single bad thing to say about it and we would come back in a heart beat.

Perfect!
We couldn’t be happier with our stay. It was the perfect location for our adventures! The barn is just lovely, so comfortable and charming. We watched elk and coyotes from the balcony and enjoyed the antics of the bull elk in town. Absolutely recommend and would rent again enthusiastically!

Wildlife Aplenty
Had an enjoyable stay. Conveniently located to town and the northern entrance to Yellowstone. As we walked out our second story 3 bedroom apt we were pleasantly surprised by a 8 pt mule deer nibbling on the vegetation. (He was surprised too!). Having a full kitchen and laundry was excellent. We would recommend highly.

Perfect for our wants/needs
Linda and Ken are gracious and attentive hosts. They thoughtfully provide many nice touches for those staying in their home - body lotions, dish detergent, activity and restaurant recommendations etc. The property was "away" from town with a beautiful view but "close" enough to make trips into town for activities, groceries to park entry a quick trip. We loved our trip and our stay at the Barn on the Banks! We would love to return.

“Beauty” on the Banks
Barn on the Banks was more than we hoped for as a base-camp for our Yellowstone adventure. The first evening we arrived we decompressed to a sunset over the confluence of the Gardiner and Yellowstone Rivers. The Pronghorn and Elk were always visible, and sometimes came right up to munch on Linda and Ken’s bushes! The apartment was just right for our family of four - with a teenager and a young adult. Comfy rooms, clean and very functional. We could not have asked for more gracious hosts or a more majestic location... literally in view of the north entrance to the park. We will be back!

During many years of travel, we've stayed at some fine rental homes. The Barn on the banks, indeed, is among the best of the rentals we have stayed in. It is extremely well-supplied in all ways, and it features a fine set of directions and instructions internally to allow the visitors answers to all household questions they may have. The barn is comfortable, well situated per Gardiner and Yellowstone, and is a pleasure to look at and be in. Linda and Ken are gracious and affable, and we so enjoyed meeting them. This is truly a fine property in a lovely setting, and we are fortunate to have visited the barn.
