Welcome to Starfish Wishes - where your dreams and wishes for a beach vacation come true! 1 Bedroom/1 Bath condo at the Palms at Cove View, near beach access and everything Galveston has to offer. Full kitchen, spa/soaker tub with rain head shower and a great place for long-term stays as there is a full kitchen and full laundry. Dog Friendly (1).

If comfort and relaxation are what you are looking for - look no further - from the plush furnishings to the comfortable bed, to 2 balconies (one off living room, one off bedroom) you won't find a place with more attention to detail where guest comfort is concerned. The tub/shower combination - with the soaker tub and the rain head shower head just beckon relaxation. Smart TV's in the living room and bedroom (so bring your login information and don't forget to log out when departing) make it easy to relax.

Our goals are guest safety and comfort at all times, and our plan is to have you love your stay so much you are making plans for your next trip to visit Galveston!

But you're here in Galveston - on island time - so beaches are a-plenty and never far away.

Cooking or dining out? You'll find what you need in the well-appointed kitchen from cookware to dinnerware, glassware & silverware - whether you want to prepare all of your own meals or warm up leftovers from any of the amazing eateries that Galveston has to offer.

The complex also has a pool and fitness room. You'll find the passes for these in a dish on the kitchen counter. The complex charges us to replace them - so pretty please leave them behind when you depart so that future guests have them for their use as well.

Traveling light or staying for an extended period of time - you'll find the full-sized washer/dryer a huge convenience inside of the condo itself!

This condo is a 2nd floor walk up and inside there are about 6 steps from the main living area (living/dining/kitchen) to the bedroom, bathroom and laundry areas. To reach the restroom you go through the bedroom with the king sized bed that's where you'll dream of your future plans in Galveston! There are two twin rollaway beds and all the linens for them stored in the walk in closet of this bedroom as well. Guests are welcome to use them anywhere in the condo - we ask only that you return them to the closet before departing, please.

One dog is welcome to join you once the $75 nonrefundable dog fee has been paid. We do ask, however, that your dog not be permitted on the furniture and there are size and breed restrictions for insurance purposes. We also suggest you travel with your dog's vaccine records just in case something happens, and the dog must be leashed at all times when not inside of the condo - on the grounds of the complex or around Galveston, please know and follow the leash laws/rules and be kind to others - dog lovers and not so much - by picking up after your pet. The complex has cameras in the common areas and we sure don't want a fine imposed on this condo's owner.

We provide starter supplies of toiletries, paper products, coffee and dish cleaning options - these are intended to get you started as you arrive, but may not last you the duration of your stay - but sufficient to get you settled in and figure out where your preferred shopping options are and make your list of necessities. We also provide all bed sheets and bath towels, as well as kitchen towels. We don't, however, provide beach/pool towels and we respectfully request that you please not take these to the pool or beach as they could be damaged or lost.

This complex requires that we provide them with the name of each guest who will occupy the unit, and a copy of a government issued photo ID for each person 18 or older who will be there, along with the color, make, model and license plate of the vehicle that will be driven to the property. Please provide this information to us by email so that we can properly register you as guests at the complex. The complex will fine the owner $200 per day for failure to comply and this fine will be passed on to the renters. We don't make the rules - we just play by the rules that they tell us we must follow.

Additionally - if you are bringing a dog (or maximum 2 dogs) to this property - the complex requires that we provide them, in advance of your arrival, with copies of their vaccine records, the name, age, weight, breed and color of each dog, and YOU must sign the pet registration form and return it to us. Failure to do this will result in a fine from the Association in the amount of $200 per dog, per day. These are not our rules but the rules of the Association.

WE ARE UNABLE TO SEND YOUR CONFIRMATION INFORMATION UNTIL THE ABOVE INFORMATION IS ALL RECEIVED IN OUR OFFICE.

After making your reservation you will receive a link to complete our renters agreement. The only information we request differently than the booking platforms (VRBO/AirBnB) is your personal email address, the names and ages of each person who will be in the property during your stay, and your driver’s license information as well as an emergency contact should we need to reach someone on your behalf. Thank you for completing this in a timely manner so that we may send you the check-in instructions for the property you have reserved.

Galveston is a barrier island located in the Gulf of Mexico. The island is susceptible to rainstorms, thunderstorms and even a hurricane now and then. Sometimes these result in temporary power and WiFi outages. We strongly encourage our renters to consider purchasing trip interruption/cancellation protection either through the platform that you book through or some other source. My Galveston Getaway issues refunds if a governmental official issues a mandatory evacuation of the island. Unfortunately we are unable to control sunshine, temperatures and mosquitos and do not refund other than pursuant to our policy based on evacuation orders. Thank you for understanding.

For all reservations made directly through our website and through VRBO, there is a $300 security deposit “hold” required. You certainly can purchase trip cancellation/interruption coverage through those platforms as well if you so desire, this is a damage “deposit” hold. This is released once our housekeepers advise that the property has been left in the condition received with no damages occurring during your stay. This is not a charge, but a hold on the credit card on file with which the reservation is made. Should there be damages and they exceed $300 to repair or replace, you will be notified and asked to make arrangements to compensate for those items.
