"Our room was quiet, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was nice--more than enough for a decent breakfast before heading out-- waffle maker, toast, yogurt, cold cereal, fruit, juice coffee, and tea, etc. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The staff was very helpful and parking was super easy right next to the room. The only slight downside was a strong musty odor in the entryway of the room (106), but the room itself smelled clean and was just fine."

"The reviews suggested by many others that the breakfast was a highlight of the experience. Although there was nothing wrong with the breakfast, I found it to be the standard self-serve bare-minimum of cold cereal or hot-cereal premix packs, store-bought waffle mix, hard-boiled egg, toast/bagel/muffin plus apple/orange juice and apple/banana fruit. There was friendly on-site staff to assist or replenish any empty containers. Again, anyone looking for a truly enjoyable breakfast experience as part of their stay here may need to lower their expectations. Otherwise, this place serves it's purpose well, as a basic, clean, original or authentic vermont-style road-trip accomodation"

"We had a wonderful stay at The Landgrove! The owners were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel right at home. It's a truly family-friendly place with a warm, personal touch that makes all the difference. The interiors are beautiful, cozy, and full of character, the food is delicious, and the fireplace in our room was absolutely amazing! Such a charming and special place. We would love to come back!"
