We loved staying at Mikansei! Our room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed ourselves in the shared spaces, including the kitchen, bathrooms, and communal areas. Our hosts, Claire and Shiro, were incredibly gracious, sharing their knowledge about the Oi river valley and Japan in general, as well as their time, and taking an interest in their guests. We had a great stay at HOTEL MYSTAYS Shimizu. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. The hotel was also very English-friendly, which made the check-in process and overall experience much easier.

We had a great stay. The hotel and room was perfect. Spacious and clean. I love that the housekeepers left a bag a fresh towels and amenities at the door even when we had a do not disturb sign.
The location was perfect. Plenty of dining and shopping near by and train station just outside the hotel door. Would choose to stay here again next time I’m in Osaka.

The staff were super friendly when u stayed there. When I asked to leave my luggage before checking in they said yes and actually took it to my room so that hotel was awesome for that. Plus right in front there’s an awesome ramen restaurant that serves the best ramen in my opinion with super friendly staff. 10/10 recommend, and the hotel is near a lot of shopping areas.
