"This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had, even for just one night. The rooms were in terrible condition, with very poor lighting, and the bathroom drainage did not work. The entire room was extremely dirty and clearly not maintained properly. The front desk service was also very disappointing and unprofessional. What made the experience even worse was their handling of the security deposit, which felt dishonest and misleading. They would not respond properly to customer service calls and instead kept me on hold with music for a long time until I eventually gave up and ended the call."

"The room was very dated. The carpet is either very very old or very very dirty. No towel bar in the bathroom.the toilet is sooooo low to the ground, it was very heard to use. Staff was very accomodating. But this hotel needs a lot of updating!"

"Room was spotless and silent, I don’t think we heard another guest our entire stay, despite them being fully booked. The rooms were a great size, had a mini fridge/freezer and microwave in room! Also plenty of storage and a full desk. It was nice to set up and unpack, and not feel like we’re living out of our suitcase. The man at the front desk that checked us in was so kind and helpful, and told us all the amenities and local spots to check out! The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained, we will definitely be back!"

"The staff was very pleasant so our first impression was nice. Our first room was so bad we needed to move. The 2nd room was barely tolerable but we were stuck. The Kitchen was usable & pots were provided but microwave needed to be wiped down as it still had fingerprints all over. The room was dirty around the floor edges - we did not want to be barefoot, the bathroom tub was rusty & old, the curtains were torn so light came thru. There was a smell in the hallway that another guest complained about and the staff simply used industrial cans of Febreeze to fix it & closed our hallway temporarily! There was trash in the stairwell that was never picked up in the 4 days we were there. Windows outside were falling apart. Our bathroom mirror would not stay on. It would randomly go off for a few seconds & then back on which was scary when showering and annoying when trying to do makeup. I would never go there again "

"The hotel is undergoing renovations and I think a change of ownership. The sign still says it’s a Clarion but it’s advertised as Lansing Delta West. The room was a bit shabby but clean, comfortable and spacious. I could hear guests on both sides through the walls and they were not being overly noisy. The grounds, sidewalks and common areas are currently in poor condition which I assume will be taken care of as renovations continue. There is a large indoor pool and patio area that looks like it would be fun for families. The breakfast is adequate but not impressive. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s not the most impressive hotel at the moment but I did enjoy my stay and the price was right."
