Referred to by the locals as "The Tara House," this 7 bedroom, 5 ½ bathroom Lowcountry home is situated on one of the largest lots on Fripp Island with over 1 acre.  It boasts expansive views of the Ocean Point golf course and the distant Atlantic Ocean, making it the ideal spot for your family vacation. 
 
The grand entry, with sweeping “bridal” staircase, leads to an extra large living room with plenty of seating and a cozy fireplace.  The classic styling is perfect for enjoying an afternoon visiting with friends and family, watching a favorite movie on the 65” TV, or enjoying time at the game table.  A large dining room has proper seating for everyone at three large tables.  Both of these spaces lead out to the wide decks spanning the width of the home in the back.  
 
The spacious kitchen is equipped with a 6-burner ceramic cooktop, dishwasher, two refrigerators, double ovens, a Keurig, and traditional coffee makers, providing everything you need for a relaxing island getaway.   Outdoor cooking includes a propane grill and 2 charcoal grills.
 
The many bedrooms and bathrooms offer all the comforts of home.  This home is perfect for special occasions or families traveling together.  The lower-level family room has additional seating with a TV, a ping pong table, a foosball table, and another game table with access to the patio.  The back yard has 3 picnic tables, a firepit, and a great view of the golf course.

PETS MUST BE PREAPPROVED (DOGS ONLY).  You will be asked to sign a pet agreement and pay a non refundable $150 pet fee for the first pet and $75 for a 2nd pet. An additional $300 will be charged for guests that show up with a dog without approval.  
 
Club cards are required to enjoy any of the Fripp Island Resort amenities, and they are available for purchase with this property. If you opt to purchase cards, a new 12.8% resort fee based on the rental amount before taxes, cleaning and other fees will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual Club cards.

A 4 seat golf cart is included with your stay.

The home also features a ping pong table, fuzz ball table, and a corn hole set for off the beach fun. The two car garage accommodates the ping pong table.  The covered verandas and lower level patio can accommodate outdoor activity during inclimate weather. 

Outdoor cooking includes a new propane grill and 2 charcoal grills. There are 6 TVs in the house, including a 65" in the living room. The kitchen, dining room (accommodates 21 guests) and living room are very spacious and the lower level even contains a separate Family Room, plenty of room to accommodate our guests.

If this property offers club cards for access to Fripp Island Resort amenities, a new 12.8% of the total rent resort fee will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual club cards. After booking this property, VRBO will charge their service fee separately and then the reservation will be transferred to FrippIslandStay where the property owner or manager will charge your credit card for the other items seen in the quote provided by VRBO. The refundable security deposit if applicable will be included in the final payment. You will also have the opportunity to purchase travel insurance and damage protection insurance on FrippIslandStay.

You will receive an email with log in information from FrippIslandStay right after booking. Please check your spam or promotions folders. Once logged in to FrippIslandStay, you will be able to order club cards if available and gate passes for access to the island.
