"We loved it! All the basic things were excellent and beyond the standard of many hotels (bed, furniture, bathroom, soaps/shampoos). The staff is wonderful, they were so friendly and accommodating. The building, and architecture really make this place special. We stayed in a corner room, and our room had a fantastic view. "The host Jeanette was lovely, attentive but never intrusive. Breakfasts were delicious and nicely presented at the 12 seat table — every day we had a different entree and a good selection of fruit plus homemade sweet bread! The room was great. The bed was very comfy. had an en suite bathroom, which was important to me. The house itself is amazing!
